喜欢: Nice location, Jess was on hand to assist if needed, but then i was left alone to enjoy my stay. The site slopes, but in fairness that is mentioned in the details on pitch-up. I did find a level pitch just to the right of the entrance. Facilities are basic but clean. I do some wild camping so this wasn't an issue for me. I would visit Aga n if in the area.
不喜欢: Not the site's fault but the approach road was crammed with campers and motorhomes, a little off putting as it spoils the feel of site's actual remoteness.

喜欢: Lovely campsite with lots of space to choose from. The toilets/facilities were clean and close by. 10 minute walk to and range of pubs and shops in the nearby village of Castleton. A perfect place to go see Mam Tor at sunrise.

喜欢: The facilities were clean and well stocked. The field was spacious and tidy. The information around booking and arrival was prompt and helpful.
不喜欢: There was some kind of event on nearby and the music went on until the early hours. Other guests came and pitched very close to our camp when there was plenty of room further along the field.

喜欢: Lovely area, cafes & pubs are a 3 minute drive away or a nice walk away. Really nice views from the campsite, wasn’t kept up by any noise from anyone, everybody kept the noise to an acceptable level and it was just all around a great stay!

喜欢: Pleasant owner. Clean toilet facilities, washing up sink and drinking water tap also provided. Great views from the site too.
不喜欢: No shower facilities, and field on a slight slope - however this was made clear in the listing before booking and didn't particularly bother me, only being there a couple of days.
