Was well kept, good pitches, loads for the kids to do, handy little shop, friendly staff, pool was gorgeous (and kids loved it) and was always easy to book in with no issues. Will absolutely be back, didn’t want to leave really! Also, the site itself was secluded and out the way but was like the best of both worlds as easy and quick enough to get to places easily. I had a 3 year old & a 13 year old with me and neither was bored for sure!

Tyckte om Honestly such good value for money! For the price paid I honestly wasn’t expecting any frills but was sooo pleasantly surprised! The site was clean & well maintained (including toilets/wash facilities which everytime I went in were well stocked with toilet roll etc and were cleaned during the day), friendly lady checked us in, friendly handy man to check our electric hook up (turns out, I was just being an idiot-nothing wrong with the electrics🤣) plenty of pitch space, literally a five min walk to the beach (plus a shop, arcade, ice cream cafe amongst other things & close to Barmouth centre -10 mins drive or train station next to camp for I think £3 ish a ticket (not disturbing through the night/early in morning). Lovely view of the hills & sea from the tent.

Tyckte om Really nice and well maintained site, clean bathroom/toilets, cute games room for kids and kitchen with fridge/freezer/washing up facilities. Shower was nice and warm also. Play area was a huge hit for my little one who spent hours and hours on it. Site was a nice size, not to large so could relax with the kids. Absolutely amazing communication from the site owners with clear pitch info in advance which I thought was really helpful plus super accommodating before hand on any queries our group had . Didn’t meet Freya but met Mark around the site who was absolutely lovely. Lidl/petrol stations a few mins drive away but site itself secluded. We were in a tent with electric hook up but we got to have a peak at the glamping pods which looked super cosy and nice/good value for money so I’d recommend them also! I’d like to return to this site.

Tyckte inte om Got absolutely battered by storm Dave which can’t be helped haha so we shot off early morning. Wouldn’t mind a wifi just to put a movie on for the kids of a night time but tbf I didn’t struggle with mobile signal so really a non-issue.

Tyckte om Stayed here for the weekend, such a lovely well kept site. The owners are clearly working really hard to keep it lovely and keep making improvements. The site was really relaxed, owner really friendly, toilets/showers lovely. The goats were a massive hit with us also, very friendly haha! Liked the dog walking area also. Pitch sizes where great & again very well kept. Very close to Trearddur bay (10 min car drive) which was lovely. A few mins drive from a village with a shop etc. would stay again.

Tyckte om Everything! Immaculate site, immaculate facilities & friendly staff & guests. Seriously, I have never seen cleaner bathrooms in a private or business setting! My son also commented that the showers were better then our shower at home! The staff clearly work very hard to maintain the site. The separate playing field next to the river where I could let the dog have a run was also a godsend. When I arrived on site (a little late due to a wrong turn where I was gratefully & patiently given better directions from the lady who runs the site over the phone) there was a few bricks by my pitch for me incase I wanted a bbq, a picnic bench by the side of the pitch & all facilities etc were explained to me straight away. Despite the previous rain the pitch itself was still in good condition to pitch up. We ended up leaving a couple of days early due to the threat of thunderstorms (I just wasn’t feeling brave enough!!) but that is no reflection on the site its self & we would absolutely love to return in better weather! Cannot recommend this lovely site enough. We went on a quiet week & were left to our own devices but knew the staff were around if we needed anything.

I am so happy that you will return to us and experience Riverbend in better weather, although there is much to do if the rain is more frequent. Thank you also for your kind remarks regarding our washrooms, we take a great deal of pride in them and in all fairness most of our customers leave them as they find them. Tyckte om Really nice little site with very clean toilets/showers, generously sized pitches and overall well kept and clean and tidy. We stayed in the family field which my son loved being able to play with the other mini campers & I felt happy he was safe and secure and in my line of sight. Guy the owner (I think his name was guy!) was very nice, warm & welcoming & even borrowed me some tape for my dodgey tent poles which as I’m writing this I’ve realised I’ve accidentally brought your tape home with me so I’m so sorry!! Two beaches literally ten mins drive away, we went to aberdaron as we had the dog. It was a beautiful beach with lovely clear water and clean sand! Lots of little shops and cafes in aberdaron also. Although quite a bit away from us satnav found the site easy so was an easy journey. Also had great phone signal at all times on the site (not sure if there was wifi or not as just stuck to phone signal).

Tyckte om Literally everything! It was our first time camping and what a great experience! Such a lovely well kept site complimented by lovely staff. Plenty of kids for my son to play with and plenty of walks etc to keep us busy and tire us out! And breathtaking views to top it off. Showers/toilets regularly cleaned, fire pits brought to your pitch (for a really good price- £5 for the night -plus a little extra for logs). Will definitely be visiting again soon as we loved it (and so did the puppy!)
