Tyckte om Beautiful location with friendly wardens and a lovely riverside walk with access directly from the site. The bar on the edge of the campsite was a real bonus. Although it was only open on Friday and Saturday evenings, plus a few hours on Sunday lunchtime, the food was lovely and reasonably priced. The staff were welcoming, friendly and couldn’t have been nicer.

Tyckte inte om A few things to be aware of: there is only one shower cubicle, although the shower itself was really good. You’ll also need a long hook-up cable, ideally 25 metres or more. There isn’t a shop on site or within easy walking distance for basic supplies, such as milk, so it’s worth making sure you have everything you need before arriving. The water at the pot-wash area was also cold, which made washing up less convenient. We were lucky to have a pitch towards the side of the field, which gave us a good amount of privacy. However, some of the other campers and caravans were grouped together in the middle of the field, which offered less privacy. Overall, these are just a few things to bear in mind when planning your stay.
