Tyckte om We had a shaded very generous sized pitch. The staff were very friendly. There was wifi in the pub which we needed for our stay but it was temperamental.

Tyckte inte om Both sets of shower and toilet blocks were really poorly maintained and unclean, within the pub toilets there was faeces and vomit in separate stalls (ladies!) and they were very smelly. The blocks themselves were more like public facilities. Obviously the patrons are leaving them in that state but I’ve never stayed on a site like this. The shower didn’t work unless you held the button in the whole time. There was loud music playing very late in the pub which was not really what we were there for (had wanted a peaceful evening). There are 5-10 abandoned vehicles on the site which just make it really grubby. There was also a very strong smell of marijuana (I don’t mind others doing what they please but can’t really get away from it camping).

Tyckte om Beautiful peaceful site, amazing showers, exceptionally clean and grounds well kept. Staff brilliant, accommodated out pitch request. There was a small stream next to our pitch and the sound made it feel like we were hidden in the wilderness! We turn in early and it was so quiet and other residents were also all very respectful of noise. Wi-Fi was brilliant (I had no signal on site).

Tyckte om Spacious pitches, mostly all entirely flat. It was quiet so we were quite tucked away and it was so quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views to wake up to. We accidentally arrived late and the staff were so helpful and picked a sheltered spot for us as it was quite windy. Site is on south west coast path

Tyckte inte om The only thing and it’s usually standard but a chunk of the cost was for bringing our two mini dachshunds which basically stayed in the car the whole time.

Tyckte om Staff were an absolute 10 for customer service. All really lovely and so helpful. There’s a great little shop on site which has everything you could need and they also cook you fresh bread the following day if you order it. There’s also a cafe with AMAZING cakes etc, we got sausage rolls as well and would go back for that alone! Also picked up some fresh farm eggs. Very spacious site and lots of animals etc and access to walk down to the tarka trail. Will definitely go back.

Tyckte inte om Not really a dislike as such but the shower block isn’t heated. There is no phone signal (wifi is available at the shower block and main buildings). Again absolutely fine but worth bearing in mind if you need access to your phone :)
