Tyckte om It was so peaceful. The toilet and showers facilities were beautifully clean and well stocked. The covered communal area has lovely touches, eggs and milk can be bought, the toaster, microwave etc were lively and clean. Lots of leaflets for local walks etc.

Tyckte inte om This is nothing to do with the campsite, but maybe they could just update their website to say that the local pub is closed and maybe so for a few months. I'd looked forward to a stroll for a pint, but when I asked directions, the campsite chap (who was very welcoming) told me it was being refurbished and wouldn't be open all summer. So perhaps they could remove that info about the pub.

Tyckte om The owner phoned to say there would be a big farmers sale while I was there and gave me the option to cancel, which I did. I thought it was very considerate of her to let me know. She also offered to let me stay free if I had decided to still go. I was the only pitch booked for those dates.
