Tyckte om Everything. Brilliant camp site, would absolutely come and stay again. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Site is very well maintained, clean and tidy. We had an excellent pitch with plenty of space. WiFi was brilliant. Better than at home! I've never been to a campsite that had such good WiFi service. Brilliant value for money too.

Tyckte inte om The ONLY thing I disliked was the fact that people had hammered the showers on the day we arrived, so i couldn't have a hot shower.. but thats the plumbing, which is being sorted soon. And that only happened once. Every shower I had after was hot and it was lovely!

Tyckte om • Lots of space on the large pitch. • Claire is lovely! Very approachable and just a genuine person. • toilets are clean and well taken care of, loved the underfloor heating! • Surrounding area is lovely. I read reviews before we arrived, a few people said that they wouldn't have booked if they'd have known it was right near a Navy air base. We stayed a week and didnt see, or hear a single thing. We were quite disappointed to be honest, lol. • Sold good products in the shop and had a decent variety, considering its a small shop. • Dish washing area was always clean and tidy, dish soap was by the sink for those who forgot to bring some... like me! • The showers were lovely and warm! •WiFi was brilliant! • There were some kids toys, by the sink area, which i thought was lovely. • We were able to hire a BBQ and a fire pit. • My husband would go for walks in the evening and he took some fantastic pictures of the stars at night. Bring a telescope if you have one! This was my first time in Cornwall and I have loved it. We traveled just over 6 hours to come to this campsite and would happily come back again.

Tyckte inte om There wasnt a lot i disliked to be honest. The only thing that really bothered me was the hand dryers in the toilets. We were pitched right next to the toilet block, which didnt bother me in the slightest. I was actually quite glad we were close.. BUT... the men, repeatedly kept the toilets door open (as in the entrance door) and the hand dryers were so loud! It drove me crazy in the evening as we have a child who was trying to get to sleep. People were going in, in the early hrs of the morning to use the loo and not shutting the door. There is a sign on the actual door asking people to keep it closed, but it unfortunately went ignored. Once the door was closed, I could hardly hear it. This isnt the fault of the owners at all. I just wish the gentlemen would have been a bit more considerate for the ones pitched right outside.

Tyckte om We stayed for 4 nights and would happily have stayed for more. Its lovely little place, not too many people. I loved the strict 10.30pm no noise rule. It meant you could sleep in silence. The owner was SO polite and helpful! She showed us to our pitch and where all the facilities were. The showers are no frills, but they are clean and hot! We had pizza on Thursday, freshly made to order, on site. Washing area is clean and so is the drying area. Everything is easy to find and looked new. I don't remember the lady's name in the reception, but she was so helpful! Nothing was too much. I can see why it's a popular place!

Tyckte inte om We were on pitch 4, and we did have some difficulties with hammering in the pegs. The grass near the road was softer and much easier to peg. The grass near the hook up was very rocky and very difficult to peg. I would 100% recommend getting steel pegs for pitching here. There isn't a ton for children to do, although it is child friendly, I would say it's more suited for older children.. but even though I have a child myself, I quite liked it. Less noise lol. The shop is lovely, it's got lots of character, it's welcoming and friendly, but it does only stock the bare essentials. A little more variety would have been lovely, in terms of foods. But that's it.
