Tyckte om My first time here, stayed for 2 peaceful nights as a solo female and felt very safe. Very friendly site that had everything I needed. Wild camping but with a bit of luxury 😁 Loads of open space, just drive in and choose your own spot on the mown grass. Lots of info on the welcome board as you drive in and a small honesty shop selling snacks, drinks and firewood. Free fire pits at your disposal too. Composting toilet, sinks, showers, waste area all spotlessly clean. Wooded area for walks and adventure. I didn't walk into the local village but it's not far and there's a pub and a shop. About a mile away is the river great ouse where there's a carpark and slipway, perfect for kayakers and wild swimmers. Across the riverbank is a pub too! I loved the nature around here and especially hearing the cows in the field opposite having a moooooo🐄 I will certainly be returning. Thank you 👍🏼

Tyckte om Tucked out of the way but easy to find, it's the turning to the right just before the bridge. It's a well kept grassy site with very spacious pitches at the front with electric hook up or if you're in a tent/car camper drive right to the back to find lots of secluded little spots amongst the trees. So quiet and peaceful here. (Adults only so perfect for those who don't want kiddies running about) Perfect spot for walks along the river with the dog watching the boats. The owners are a lovely family, very welcoming and helpful. Felt very safe as a solo female camper and very relaxing for my nervous doggie too ❤️ One extremely clean portaloo! and fresh water tap. Camping as it should be! 🙂👍🏼

Tyckte om Spacious pitches on a lovely small site, I couldn't put my tent up as it was too windy, so I camped in my car instead🙂 The people were very welcoming and were always on site to help with anything. Felt very safe as a solo female camper. All the facilities were very clean. Had a great view overlooking the farm, lovely to watch the sheep and their lambs grazing. It was so peaceful here, tucked out of the way just the farm and a few other campers. It was absolutely perfect for me, just the relaxation I needed. I will certainly be returning. Thank you 😊

Tyckte om My first stay here and can’t wait to return. Loved being able to just drive around and choose a spot to pitch my tent, there’s so much space and my spot felt very secluded and peaceful, felt like I was the only one there but also felt very safe as I was travelling alone. I spent my evenings just sitting by the tent listening to the wildlife. Much needed relaxation. It’s right next to the river too, lots of canal boats moored up, so I went for some lovely walks along the path, the boat people were super friendly and it’s great for dog walkers. I took my kayak and spent hours paddling along the river spotting wildlife, herons, kingfisher, and loads of cows grazing on the banks! Richard, the site owner, is so friendly and welcoming, he has a great passion for his site and is always willing to help with any information you may need. It’s nice he comes to check up on you and see if all is well without being intrusive. I like my camping simple and this site was perfect with the added bonus of fresh water and a portaloo! And it’s possibly the world’s cleanest and most well stocked portaloo!! The site is very clean and well kept, other campers were friendly and respectful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Tyckte om I was only able to stay for one night, wish I could've stayed a lot longer! This was my first trip out in my mini camper and I couldn't of picked a better site. Nigel the owner was friendly and very helpful. Good facilities, the showers, toilets and washing up areas were all very clean. It was very peaceful both day and night and other campers were friendly. The location is perfect, it's just by the beach, there's a shop across the road and a lovely pub is about 10 minutes walk. Also a short stroll along the front takes you into hunstanton. I will look forward to returning here at the next chance I get 😊

Our back to basic facilities are ideal for campers that want to camp without the frills. We are ideally located just a 2 minute walk from the beach, we are both dog and campfire friendly and are close to great local amenities, Sandringham and the seaside resort of Hunstanton.
