Tyckte inte om Site was quiet but there is the distant sound of the motorway, if that bothers you.

Tyckte om Location - beautiful grounds with wonderful views over the countryside. Peace and quiet - spent the evening listening to the sound of owls and staring at the stars. Awoke to a beautiful sunny morning with an uninterrupted view. The pitch - flat and spacious. We had one field all to ourselves. Friendly welcome by our host who gave us all the info we needed for our night’s stay.

The non electric meadow seems to be as popular as the electric hook up meadow with similar uninterrupted views. We are really a " no toilet & shower facility" site as advertised. For the very odd occasional guest who arrives without realising, a flushing portaloo has been hired from a professional fully serviced company. To be honest it is rarely used. Conversation with guests, I am led to believe, prefer their own facilities. NB PLEASE NOTE THIS PORTALOO WILL NO LONGER BE ON THE SITE FROM 1ST SEPTEMBER FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON
