Tyckte om Another great visit to your site. The friendly locals helped with my hook up. This time I brought a first time camper with me and they were so relieved to find the facilities so modern and clean.

Tyckte inte om The inflexible shower head, but nothing that a bath mat and shower cap can't sort out. Just remember to bring them with you.

Tyckte om The stunning views and sunsets. Friendly and informative site owner. Very small, cosy site and our neighbors were nice. Loved the chickens and cows. A real working farm. Facilities was a farm style bathroom with everything you needed. We walked to Ravenglass as the farmer suggested and went on the mini railway.

Tyckte om The views were stunning over the sands. There weren't many motorhome pitches so it was peaceful and we were opposite the site owner who greeted us when we arrived. Even though it states we didn't have access to the toilets we were able to use the portaloos in the field. If we hadn't have needed electric we think camping in the field look peaceful and the views were even better. It does state there are no showers so don't over look that if we are staying for many nights and don't have facilities yourself.

Tyckte inte om Unfortunately we didn't enjoy our stay because of the noise from other campers, playing music and shouting. The distance between each pitch in the same row is good but they are too close to the ones behind, who looked directly on to us, as a large group of tents and a communal gazebo. Although this isn't the sites fault we did wonder if a staff presence might have helped as you do state it is a non music site. The shower and toilet facilities were average, if a bit tired, like the leaflet display. But they worked - even though the two showers were in high demand as it was so busy. Maybe it didn't help that is was the bank holiday weekend. Bins were overflowing. I can see that it would be possible to have had a better experience than we did but we left tired and overwhelmed.

Tyckte om Wow wow wow. What an absolutely amazing place. The views are all around and absolutely breathtaking. Our pitch was so private (number 1 of orchard) and the whole site was so peaceful. Facilities were modern and excellent. Each pitch has their own fire pit which we used every night, with logs and kindling from farmer, even packets of firelighters! The hosts had thought of everything (so many lovely touches around the farm including go karts for kids to ride around the farm on) and even give you an information leaflet when you arrive. Thank you so much for sharing your slice of heaven with us. Can't wait to return.
