Lägg till din företagsinformationIt would be mighty difficult to find a campsite better set up for active and fun-filled family holidays. Even the North Brabant location of EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel is ideal for families, as it’s just five minutes’ away by car from the attractions of Efteling, one of the biggest theme parks in The Netherlands.
So what else makes this such a good base for families? Well, you can all have a swim and splash around whatever the weather, as there are indoor and outdoor pools, and likewise there’s an indoor soft-play area for youngsters (you can keep an eye on them while you’re having a drink as it’s right next-door to the family restaurant).
If you want some quiet time over a cup of coffee in the snack bar, the leaders at Beau and Bloem fun club are on hand to organise all sorts of activities for the kids, and there’s a mini-golf course as well as a sports field for games of football or volleyball too.
When you’ve exhausted all the sporty things to do on site, rent a bike (or an e-chopper) to explore the forests, heaths and sand dunes of National Park de Loonse en Drunense Duinen (five minutes by bike).
It’s easy to keep grown ups happy on site as well, thanks to the supermarket selling all the essentials, plus two restaurants and the snack bar to keep hunger at bay if you’re too chilled to cook.

It’s almost impossible to resist the lure of Efteling (five minutes’ drive), with its Fairytale Forest and carousels for toddlers, 4D film adventures, daredevil coasters, water rides and monorail – there’s more than enough to occupy the whole family for the day.
If you’d rather be out among all things natural, hire bikes on-site to explore the vast, ever-shifting sand dunes in National Park de Loonse en Drunense Duinen (five minutes cycling), follow the nature trails to Natuurgebied Huis ter heide (20 minutes) nature reserve or cycle the easy, level De Moer bike trail (15 minutes). Kids still not worn out? Head off to Duinoord (20 minutes) for family challenges on the treetop rope courses and quad bikes.
Children at the kids’ club? Nip off to Tilburg (20 minutes) to browse the bookshops and interior-design stores, discover the surreal, art-themed walk-through at Doloris Meta Maze and tour the city brewery before putting your feet up for a well-deserved beer in a canal-side café.
