Tyckte om Private, level pitches with easy access to water and electricity. Quiet family friendly sight and great location. Lovely clean facilities though in August you often need to queue at peak times. Food vans available most days ( except Sunday ) are a good option .

Tyckte inte om Visited mid august so to be expected I guess but pool was packed with seemingly unsupervised ( by parents) unruly kids when we tried to use it .
And not a dislike as it avoids campers being disturbed too early with car sounds but gates are locked until 8 am so if you are there for surf and want to do a dawn surf check make sure you leave your car in the car park overnight!

Tyckte om Staff at reception were very welcoming. The site was really pleasant with people from all over Europe. Facilities were clean. The food vans on site had good options for vegetarians. There is plenty of activities including karaoke if that’s your thing. The beach was nearby, 20 minute walk, very clean and not overcrowded - water was too cold for us. I would really recommend this site.

Tyckte om Lovely location, short distance from an amazing beach. Private pitches. Pizza food truck was amazing ,my 11 year old said it was the best he’d ever tasted .

Tyckte om We liked everything! It’s a truly awesome campsite. Kids loved the pool, pitches are generous, flat and private. Facilities clean and plentiful. Fresh bread and croissants every morning. Food vans or food from the bar available every night. 30-min stroll to a great surfing beach. We’re booking again next year.

Thank you for sharing you experience at camping de la Torche. We are happy to see that you enjoyed your vacation, your pitch, the clean toilets and showers, the communal bbq area, the kids trampoline and the eco ethos.
This year, we have installed a new game on the playground. We also planted vegetation but it didn't grow. We will try to make this space more welcoming. In august, we have a lot of people on the campsite and a lot of families with children enjoying the pool. In the morning and in the end of the day, there is less people in the swimming pool.

Tyckte om The beach (a 20 minute walk away) is magnificent. The staff were friendly. Was nice to have the option of visiting food trucks and evening entertainment.

Tyckte inte om We were really unlucky with the weather and this site is in the middle of nowhere. The walk to the beach was just a bit too far. The showers were unreliable.

Thank you for sharing your experience at our campsite ! It is sad that we can't personnalize the answer as the review is anonymous. The wifi is limited on the campsite so you can enjoy the different activites around. If you need some ideas, don't hesitate to come at the reception ! Luckily, we have a covered and heated swimming pool during bad weather. We will ordered some sun for your next time at la Torche :)
