Brilliant animals

We live with an airport nearby so the occasional planes didn't bother us - actually it was nice looking up.at folks going on holiday when we were already on holiday ourselves 😁

Not a huge problem for most of the day, but quite busy first thing in the morning.

Tyckte om Great site. Basic facilities as described but very clean. Lovely to meet the alpacas, emus, and llamas. Site sells eggs and honey. The site managers were friendly and helpful. We would visit again.

Tyckte om This site is a little gem! We arrived and were greeted by a lovely lady who explained everything we needed and said was available if needed anything.
Honey and eggs available to buy (both delicious)

We had visiting alpaca pop by and hop over the fence super cute and no bother. Animals on site were lovely.

Toilets were lovely and clean on arrival and was only a bit messy when we left due to grass from peoples feet. Did take own loo roll and left in the loos although was some there when arrived.

Kids played and enjoyed seeing the planes and the red jets going over. We will certainly be back! Site felt safe travelling as a mum with two boys this was really important for me.

Took rubbish with us. Already discussing with other camp friends when we can visit together.

Tyckte om Friendly helpful hosts, great animal watching, very flat level field to pitch wherever you liked. Supermarket at end of the road and bus stop into Bournemouth etc. Yes there are planes but they are not continuous and did not detract from what was otherwise a very quiet site. Good internet signal.

Tyckte inte om Place is a dump, Old rotting caravan up in a hedge row the whole place just needs a general tidy up, PERMANENT people living in motorhomes with loud music and staring at you is very off putting! The place is a very very small field they let way too many people on site for the size of it.

Very risky letting Lamas roam free with the campers they are nasty spitting. Alpacas jump the fence also.

NO toilet roll, NO Showers, NEXT TO AIRPORT 747 taking off!!!!!! Direct flight path.

Communication was great and on site team super helpful.

Level pitches and Kids loved seeing the animals.

Tyckte inte om Even though it was a small site, it was popular and quite busy so queues for toilets were long at times. Could benefit from another couple of toilets.

Tyckte om We had a really warm welcome from the owners and they are so helpful and friendly and easy to contact if necessary. We loved all the animals roaming around and the fact they came onto the pitch. The planes going over were loud but not that frequent or late (though early start so maybe check the flight schedule) and this might actually attract some people with children or a love of planes. The fact there is no toilet paper or hand towels in the toilets meant they were actually quite clean as there was no paper lying around.
There is a lovely walk along the river Stour nearby and, apart from the odd plane, it is very quiet. It is also nice and flat so no levellers required.

Tyckte inte om We felt the site was ideal for families as the animals and planes would be exciting for children. It is expensive if viewed as a non EHU grass pitch but you are getting free access to an animal park and possibly even an air show. However, for us personally, the site was a bit too chaotic and noisy for more than one night.

Tyckte om Es waren keine anderen Leute da, wir konnten die Ruhe geniessen. Die Alpakas sind megasüss und ganz neugierig. Wir hatten viel Platz und durften uns hinstellen wo wir wollten.

Tyckte inte om Uns hat alles gefallen. Ein grosses Abwaschbecken um das Geschirr zu waschen wäre toll, weill wir nur mit dem Campervan unterwegs sind. Aber es funktioniert auch so.
