Tyckte om I had a great stay at the camping pods. The details were exactly as described on the website. The pod has a heater and was preheated when we arrived, which was a lovely touch. There were extra plug points available for charging devices or connecting any electric appliances. The pod also had lights and ventilation, so everything met my expectations. Although there is a small charge for the shower, the toilets were very clean, and the camping pod itself was well organised and well maintained. It’s a perfect spot for anyone who enjoys a clean, peaceful environment. Highly recommended!

Tyckte om Owner honoured our booking for a week later as we all came down with a virus which was very kind:) the site is very quiet which totally suited us as we were looking for a quiet escape from noisy Merseyside. Pod and site very accessible no probs very clean and warm. Good security.

Tyckte inte om Not much really. Could do with more lighting around the gate. There was only one other van/car on site that we saw but slight jam on the showers/toilets when we were trying to leave with only two showers/loos someone near wrenched the handle off in desperation trying to get in. Didn't like the fact the old woman with the van emptied her van toilet cassette in the ladies toilets instead of the elsan point not the owners fault at all but maybe another sign to stop seniors doing this it's rank!

Tyckte om My 7 year old son and I had a fantastic 4 nights in the Pod. Would have happily stayed longer.

It was chilly late October, but we were very cozy and comfortable at night as an electric radiator was provided. It was also great to have a light. We had just enough space to use our 2 burner stove indoors.

The bathroom was always immaculately clean and the shower was powerful. The water for washing up was helpfully hot.

You are permitted to use a BBQ so we brought along our mini travel BBQ to roast marshmelllows outside.

Kath and Ben were both very helpful and responded really quickly to questions via text.

A great location from which to explore the beautiful Shropshire Hills.

Roll mats were kindly provided, but make sure you bring inflatable matresses to go over those. I use small self-inflating matresses; those plus the roll mats and some blankets underneath our sleeping bags and we were very comfortable.

Tyckte om Chilled vibe, small campsite within driving distance of Church Stretton: good to know there are no shops or pubs close by- would have to walk or drive to church Stretton- about 5 mins drive or easy walk (but I imagine unpleasant as I don’t think there’s a route other than along the main road).

We knew what we were coming to: basically a shell with two benches for your own bedding.

Clean loo, although there was only one loo/ shower for women and one for men.

Great price!!!

Church Stretton is beautiful, and we got a fabulous sunrise view.

Tyckte inte om We were unlucky that it was windy, so the pod was really noisy all night- kids slept fine through it but I didn’t sleep much.

There is only one pod on the site: otherwise about 10 caravan spots, although the name “South View Pods” implies more. Although it’s not a biggie, I had imagined there might be more, where other likeminded people would be staying. As it was all neighbours weee in caravans/camper vans.

Site is overlooked by owner’s house. Didn’t bother us as we were just staying one night but I don’t think I’d have liked it if we were staying longer.

Found checking in slightly confusing: phone number to call was different in booking confirmation to the one on the gate- can’t remember which one worked.

The lady called Kath was absolutely rude
And Ben was a no response person message him never get a message back we had to get some
E from another caravan just to open the gate has we got ignored told them there’s nothing to lie on and still had no response from Ben

This is a disgrace of a site and would not recommend to anyone at all

Thank you for the review. It does state very clearly that you need to bring your own mattress and bedding. No one has ever had an issue with this previous to you staying and considering we have been open for over 7 years I am going to have to put this down to you not reading the description properly.

Please ensure you do this going forward with other stays not just ours as it is an unfair reflection on us and as you can see we have very good reviews and always endeavour to ensure our guests enjoy their stay.

Tyckte om Views, peaceful atmosphere. Clean and tidy. Good price. Easy to access.

Tyckte inte om Shower with payment of 20 p per minute. Msy I suggest a contact less payment or flat rate when booking?

Recycling of plastics and metal? Could only find a bin labelled glass.

Tyckte om Fantastic location and lovely quiet site. Check-in was easy, quick message to Ben and he gave me the code for the gate. Toilet and shower is really clean and plenty of hot water. Hut is basic, but has lighting and electricity. The main bed frame is a king size, but I used a really high airbed with built in pump which wasn't ideal as it came to the same height as the 3rd single bed frame. You'll probably be better with a 'normal' airbed instead. I'd definitely stay again.
