Не понравилось There are no toilets or showers in this particular field which means a fair walk to the entrance of the site to use them.

Не понравилось Showers. Push button that you had to keep one hand on otherwise the water flow would stop. Not exactly idea being left with one hand to wash with.

Понравилось The scenery, the size of the field, the fact that you can pitch at your choosing & the showers for the adequate size and ease of being able to actually move around. Phone signal was good.

Не понравилось The suspension killing track to the field and when leaving. The price is somewhat questionable compared to other sites we have stayed on that have offered far more in their facilities. Shower water temperature was cold ( good job it was a hot day ).

Не понравилось Not a single level pitch. Booking a hard standing pitch and having to pitch on grass because there are no hard standing pitches.

Понравилось Showers maybe, if I had used them. The view, if I was in a tent and not in a camper.

Не понравилось The price for having to pitch up in a car park. Which is where campervans have to go, along with everybody's vehicles.

От менеджера: Ian, thank you for taking time to provide us with feedback regarding your recent stay with us. I am sorry to hear that you felt the site was unsuitable for you. With respect to the comment regarding the site being a car park along with everybody’s vehicles, I’m afraid I do not understand what this means. The site is comprised of 5 pitches, minimum of 8m x 8m in size all marked out and delineated by fencing and hedging between each pitch. All of the pitches are gravel hardstanding, so have assumed that a dissatisfaction of this type of surface is what is meant by a ‘car park’? Most of all, I have to admit that I am surprised by the feedback regarding the view from your pitch. I believe the reviews of other guests along with their photos uploaded to Pitchup speak for themselves – the view of the mountains is generally the biggest talking point of a guest stay and it is the feature about which we receive the most positive response. It was the view that actually convinced us to open the site just 12 months ago – owners of campervans and motorhomes visiting the café eventually talked us in to opening the site, many saying they would stay just for the view of Snowdonia alone. (In that the mountain range dominates the landscape that can be seen from the site and would be a joy to wake up to and enjoy during the day). So to hear that you feel the view is unsatisfactory to you is somewhat disappointing. I’m also not sure why you believe the view would be more suited to a tent? (note, we are not licensed to accept tents). Finally, as an additional note with respect to site facilities, I must highlight to those reading this review that this site does not have showers (but does have 24 hour toilet facilities). This leads me to the observation on reading other reviews that this particular reviewer has submitted to Pitchup, that I did notice disappointing stays and lower review scores are a regular feature. I can therefore only echo what other sites have said in reply to this reviewer by encouraging the reading of descriptions of features and facilities and the looking through of photos on Pitchup before making a booking.

Не понравилось Quite difficult to find as the post code takes you to another farm. If it wasn't for a young lad coming out and telling us exactly where we need to go, we probably wouldn't have found the campsite, unless by chance. On arrival we still wasn't to sure if we was at the right place as not alot of signage. Water supply for the shower is very limited and shoes need to be removed as it's within the extension of owners home.

От менеджера: Thank you Ian for you feedback. We are a remote setting and make people aware of that on the web site. Most choose because we are. We also make people aware that we are a back to basics wild camping site and true to that definition. We always recommend guests look hard at the the site description before choosing so that it does meet your needs. Regards water - we provide guests with water and as much as they need so that ought not be an issue but apologies if it was. We very rarely have problems with the shower room even in busy periods or the requirements of using it - most reflect how clean the facilities are but again all points noted. Many thanks MarkB
