Понравилось Everything! The glamping pod was clean and well equipped. Felt very safe as a female solo traveller there. Toilet blocks and portable toilets were very clean. Loved the Friday night pizzas. Very peaceful site, looking forward to returning.

Понравилось Wifi was good.

Не понравилось Our pitch had alot of old food round it. The electric hook up in the back field was terrible. There wasn’t enough sockets and several people had to go to reception to get adapters & extension leads. Dog kept in small crate by the horse stables was howling quite a bit. Ok to stay for a couple of nights but we wouldn’t stay any longer than that.

Понравилось Location was good for us. Views were lovely. Staff were friendly.

Не понравилось Our pitch was right next to the entrance, reception, toilets, sink & communal bench so it was very noisy & busy. Anytime anyone smoked at the bench we could smell it in our caravan & you could also hear every conversation there so felt a bit intrusive.

Понравилось The site was beautiful. Great having no cars on the grass so the kids can play. Very quiet. Toilets & showers were very clean.

Не понравилось Site location wasn’t for us, couldn’t walk anywhere for local shops or food as it was just off a busy main road with no footpaths. On site pub was closed and a pub in Goonhavern wasn’t serving food but did find a lovely restaurant called the The Smugglers Den which you had to drive too.

От менеджера: Hi Leanne, Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review! We're glad that you found our site to be clean and the facilities good as well! I'm really sorry that the location of our site did not work for you guys! As much as we take on board all notes given to us by our lovely guests so that we can adapt onsite and improve where we feel we should, unfortunately the location of the site is not something that we can change. From the looks of reviews we get, it really works for some people as we are centralised to a few hotspots in Cornwall, and doesn't work for others! With that being said, if you had any suggestions, that we could make our location clearer to people before they book we would be more than happy to take this on board! We do advertise where we can on all of our platforms, and our address can be searched from a search engine to gain an understanding of where we are. We also have a bus stop directly outside of the campsite which takes you into Newquay and the other route will take you into Truro, which we believe is an excellent facility we are so lucky to be able to provide! We do also state that the pub is only seasonal, and as much as we would love to have this as an all year round facility, this just isn't viable for us, but this is known to our guests who come and stay with us. We also have a dog walk/foot path onsite which can take you into Perranporth (although it is a long walk so understandably this isn't for everyone). This is clearly signposted around site, and is shown on the map that you received in your welcome pack on the day of arrival before you were walked to your pitch :) I've noticed that you stayed on one of our fully serviced hardstanding pitches, which we really do pride ourselves on and have lovely comments made about them, so I just wanted to question why there was a rating of 6/10 given for the quality of accommodation? As you stayed in your own motorhome I can only assume this was based on the pitch. If you feel there are improvements we could make on these pitches we would love to know, so we can continue to improve where our guests feel we need to!
