Понравилось We had a fully serviced pitch which was a real treat for us, there is a brilliant dog walk past the service block into the woods The staff are very friendly, and the site is immaculate it’s just a pity its rained but we will be back.

Понравилось The peace and quiet here, and to walk our dog in the old runway. The family who run this site, go out of their way to help in any way

Понравилось The view was absolutely stunning, and the reception staff were lovely. We went on a couple of walks, which we were given a map for.

Не понравилось The toilet block could have been bigger, only one shower and two toilets in the ladies bathroom and one in the men’s

Понравилось The indoor pool was lovely, and the outdoor pool was nice but was too cold to use and the shop stocked just about everything you need

Не понравилось The staff were rude, and for the price we paid even after they had taken our pitch up deposit the added cost for electricity was extortion in my opinion

От менеджера: We thank you for your good comment about our heated swimming pool, the outdoor pool is not heated so the water is at the outside temperature. Electricity is charged at 0.41 € per kWh consumed. Upon arrival, the customer is informed and delivers a deposit of 3 € per day of stay, the day of departure is calculated how much electricity has been consumed and the accounts are settled. Depending on the total consumption of kwh, part of the deposit money will be refunded or you will have to pay the excess consumed.

Не понравилось I think with what we are being charged electricity should be included in the price not paid as an extra, and also when you have paid a deposit you expect a pitch big enough to accommodate the size of your caravan not crammed on a pitch the size of a sardine van while much smaller vans and motor homes have super large pitches.

От менеджера: Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. All plots have about 80 m2, some have a pine tree inside. All plots have the same price, we do not charge more to those who have a large caravan. On the dates you were at the campsite we were over 95% occupied so the best plots were already occupied. Electricity, it is true, is charged according to consumption is advertised in Pitchup and reported in the check in. The decision to choose one campsite or another depending on electricity is up to the guests.
