Понравилось The facilities were clean and the showers were hot and good quality. People running the site were very friendly and helpful Near the falls which were amazing

Не понравилось No shops or restaurant but only 10 mins drive to Spar and the pier cafe that was good

Понравилось The restaurant and gym and playground were an excellent standard. Service from lady in restaurant exceptional

Не понравилось The pitch was not that nice. Most showers not working lights not working and the shower that did work temperature was erratic from freezing to scorching Also facilities along walk from pitch with nobody except us and 2 others staying

Не понравилось The pitch was nearly impossible to get even steel pegs in. Had to take down awning during storm due to not being able to secure correctly

Не понравилось The site was dated and at £35a night poor value for money. Last straw Woke up on pitch to find workman cutting up metal to erect a building Left a day early as pitch and facilities not to standard being charged

Понравилось The shower blocks were new and the water was hot but not cleaned regularly with grime on floors and unfortunately non flushed toilets

Не понравилось The site was not as photogenic as advertised The site was covered in litter and dated with no slide in the pool. No Catering accept for one place where the order was wrong and when bought up was told it would take to long to get the peppercorn sauce. Starter was bought after main meal. Left a day early as outside was just as bad with no facilities and little choice of cafes and restaurants At night music playing after midnight and the staff non existent

Не понравилось The pitched were on stone and not attractive. Was told to go pick a pitch on arrival as none allocated. Drove round with most with reservations on them only 2 spots out of 30 free. Site not really for children very quiet

Due to the typical Lake District weather we experience, our hardstanding pitches are specifically designed to provide a practical, reliable surface in wetter conditions. We understand that they may not have the same appearance as grass pitches, but this is something we feel is particularly important for comfort and accessibility throughout the year. We also appreciate your comments regarding pitch allocation. We don’t pre-allocate pitches, as we prefer to give guests the flexibility to choose their preferred pitch on arrival. During school holidays and other busy periods, however, availability can naturally become more limited, particularly for guests arriving later in the day. We’re also sorry that the site felt quiet and not particularly suited to children. We pride ourselves on being a family-friendly site, with our large outdoor adventure playground, library, nature trails and nature hide, all designed to give families plenty to enjoy. We appreciate that everyone has different expectations, and we’re sorry that the atmosphere during your stay didn’t meet yours.

Понравилось Excellent facilicities including park and swimming pool. Very kid friendly.

Не понравилось nothing really to not like. Maybe a fly killer in the toilets but that is minor.

Понравилось The position and walk to Swanage beach was great. The toilets in the main block and most of the showers good standard

Не понравилось The pitches were overgrown and close to each other. The shop was non existent Night of fireworks loud music going on at cafe / bar way after midnight which overplayed the fireworks and prevented the kids from getting to sleep
