Понравилось Nice big pitches just choose your place. Great location near the town.

Не понравилось I thought £5 per night for my tiny jack Russell dog that barely got out of the van was extremely over priced. Just 2 mens toilets for the amount of guests was a little short of requirements.

От менеджера: Well, thank’ee kindly for the review! 😂 Lovely to hear you enjoyed the big pitches and the location — can’t argue with that one. You can certainly pick your own spot, although I do sometimes wonder why Roderick keeps putting his tent up in the caravan! Now then… the £5-a-night for the tiny Jack Russell. I’m afraid you’ve caught us out here. We do charge for dogs, yes — but I’ll be having a serious word with the pricing department about whether a Jack Russell that “barely got out of the van” should be paying the same as a Great Dane doing laps of the site! 🐕 Mind you, knowing Jack Russells, yours was probably running the campsite from inside the van anyway! As for the two gents' toilets… well, they are perfectly capable of handling the numbers, provided everyone remembers they’re not auditioning for the Cornish Olympic Long-Distance Toilet Experience. We ave the alfresco loos as well you know.... We’re a fairly basic campsite, but we do our best to keep things clean and functional. We’re always looking at ways to improve the facilities as the site grows. Anyway, glad you enjoyed the pitch and location — and please tell the little fella Rodderick says he owes him a fiver! 😂 All the best, Farmer Rob

Понравилось Absolutely immaculate site. Showers and toilets were immaculate and had lovely music playing in them too. Fantastic views. Free wifi. Really friendly and welcoming owners. Very peaceful with a lovely stream at the bottom.

Не понравилось Only minor complaint but nothing to do with the quality of the site. When booking with pitchup.com it's not very clear that the grass pitches are suitable for and available for motor homes? It says only suitable for tents and trailer tents so we booked hard standing electric pitch. We didn't really need electricity and would have preferred the cheaper grass pitches if we had known they were suitable for motor homes.

Понравилось Really big pitches. Fantastic views. Friendly wardens. Very peaceful. Reasonable prices. Loved the goats chickens and hens. We bought egg. They are delicious.

Не понравилось Only one shower. Maybe a second one would be good for the amount of pitches.

Понравилось We absolutely loved it. Set in beautiful scenery and close to the Derwent reservoir. Really big pitches. Great clean toilets and showers. Pitches with views. I would definitely return. We saw the comments about it being like a building site. We definitely didn't think it was. They are obviously trying to develop it more but it certainly didn't bother us. Only advice I would say is perhaps putting some wooden lattice type things in the shower floors? Thanks for a lovely stop over.

Понравилось This was fantastic. Really friendly owners. Nice clean toilets. Lots of space in a lovely open field. We loved the farm animals and thought the ostriches were so comical and entertaining chasing the goats. Its in a fantastic location. They have another field with portaloos on and possibly the finest views over the sea you could ask for. I would 100 percent recommend visiting here.

Понравилось Great scenery. Massive field just pick you spot on arrival. Lovely working farm with animals. Friendly owners staff here. Very clean and hot showers. Clean toilets. Peaceful place and a great location close to Swanage. Fair prices for the location. We loved this site.

Понравилось Very easy to book. Fair price for the area its in. Then just turn up and park we neve say any warden. Its a massive field basically with portaloos and pop up showers that were hot enough but very basic and 2 washing up sinks. Don't expect anything more.

Не понравилось Nothing really. I read the reviews and description and received exactly what I wanted and expected. I did see a few dog poos not picked up which is a shame on the owners of the dogs. There was a bit of road and railway noise through the night but didn't bother us. Portaloos needed a clean.

Понравилось Peaceful spacious pitches in great surroundings. Nice clean shower and toilet but only one so not sure if enough if it had been busy?

Не понравилось There was two couples in a caravan with 3 dogs and they let them run loose all over the place and didn't pick up poo. There was an old gentleman who had a dog and it was loose and it pooped 3 times but he didn't pick it all up because he wasn't watching it. I didn't even know the rules for dogs must be on leads until I read the terms and conditions. Perhaps it would be worth reiterating to all dog owners on arrival they must be kept on leads whilst on the site if they wish to stay. And perhaps a few signs dotted about saying keep dogs on leads if you want to stay?

Понравилось The owners are so friendly and made us really welcome. Its so peacful at this site. The prices a very fair. Location is out of built up areas what we wanted and there is a decent little pub near the site.
