Понравилось Flat pitch with water and electricity on each, access to canal for walks and fishing. Electric gates and key code system for security. Stayed for one night passing through the area.

Не понравилось Weren’t sure if we were at the correct location, signage was confusing, no sign to reception had to ring, eventually found it. There is a main railway line and medium busy road adjacent to the perimeter of the site.

Понравилось Small, tidy site, courteous greeting from owner, pitches were level, on the small side not a lot of privacy between each pitch, luckily we were the only ones on site. Water and electricity on each pitch, views of surrounding hills,, the best tv signal we have ever had, probably due to the the very visible tv mast on the hill.

Не понравилось I was expecting the roads to be narrow and difficult but in fact they were ok for our motorhome. What we found challenging was the lack of signage, the site needs a sign and some additional signage on approach roads. The site is not listed on google maps so needed to rely on directions from booking confirmation. No phone signal

Понравилось Small, quiet site, gravel and grass pitch was a good size. We didn’t have children with us but there is a fabulous children’s playground. On a working farm, friendly goats. We used our own toilet/shower so cannot comment on facilities. We were just passing through the area, perfectly adequate for our needs.

Не понравилось Ok, here we go - arrived to a some what reserved reception (couldn’t really be bothered), showed us the one and only drinking water tap for the whole site, situated at the cafe, as well as the one and only pot washing up sink. Pointed to an area in the far corner of the first field where we should pitch, the electric hook up was hidden behind bushes, i didn’t see any fire extinguishers, there was a notice about no open fires/bbq but this was ignored by some campers. The field was like that of telly tubbies tv programme but eventually managed to pitch as level as we could. There was a music event on Friday and Saturday night which went on until the early hours of the next morning both nights (in fairness to the the site they did inform me prior via email but went into my junk folder so didn’t see it until after). As well as the music event other campers were very noisy all night ( a group of late teens) there was no quiet time and no one to enforce this. The showers were the push button style and lasted 10 seconds (I timed them) toilets/showers were not cleaned or the toilet bins emptied all weekend, I saw the same spider in the shower for three days, the commercial waste bins were overflowing just giving the whole site a feeling of lack of care. Yes we know when camping you have to “rough it” a bit and yes we would agree but the basics of clean toilets/showers is non negotiable for the price we paid £111 for three nights. Would we visit again - not whilst I’m breathing, would I recommend to others - not if I want them to speak to me again

Понравилось Arrived to a friendly, informative welcome and show around of the site and facilities. The site has a huge in door barn with pool, table tennis tables, books and games for children entertainment as well as equipment for cooking, microwave, toaster, washing up, etc. we chose the site for its close access to the cycling routes. Plenty of space for each pitch, very quiet site and dark skies too.

Не понравилось It’s not a dislike but this is an open area to the elements, it was really windy when we stayed, can’t help the weather but take extra tent pegs !

Понравилось Warm welcome from reception with lots of info given - site map, menus, and crucial key code for access to swimming pool. Pitches are laid out in a hap hazard fashion giving each pitch a feeling of privacy, all had water, electric and a picnic bench too. We’ve been before and stayed in the hotel, the pool is just a delight and sparkling clean, access to portmeirion in the evening too.

Понравилось Easy access, spacious pitches plenty of room for an awning, great views of the local scenery. We chose this site for the access to cycling routes to Caernarfon. The railway passes very close by too.

Не понравилось No reception or greeting on arrival, we just parked where we liked, didn’t see any warden during our two night stay. Despite this we did enjoy.

Понравилось Nice, cute quiet site with a stream running through at the bottom of the field. Informative welcome and a relaxed vibe to the experience. We needed a pitch with an over hang to accommodate our bikes on rear bike rack which we were able to get.

Не понравилось We felt the pitches were narrow and close together, not a lot of space or privacy between neighbours no room for an awning and navigating into our pitch was tricky due to the layout. The road approach was narrow and the site access was down a steepish hill (and up hill when leaving). Toilet/showers could do with a makeover. It just didn’t do it for us, a shame really as the host was lovely.

Понравилось We really enjoyed our stay here, friendly, informative welcome, super spacious pitches on flat ground. On-site warden, shop and local info and maps on things to do and walks in the area. We did the walk into Llangollen along the old railway line, our stay coincided with the music festival and the town was buzzing, but the site was quiet in the evening. We also cycled along the Llangollen canal tow path to the aqueduct also accessible from the site.

Не понравилось We liked the barrier and toilet code system but thought this could be added to the gate entrance to the footpath walk into Llangollen as anyone could enter the site from the footpath.

Понравилось Another great stay at this cute, little site. Jo is an excellent host and keeps her site very tidy and it’s super private too, we had the place to ourselves. We come to cycle on the rail trail between Hull and Hornsea access just a few minutes from the site. Enjoyed watching the rabbits in the evening has we had a bbq. Excellent, friendly, informative email from Jo prior to visiting regarding the access to site.

Не понравилось It s not really a dislike, access is a bit on a qwerky corner but we had no trouble in our 8 metre motor home. Jo does suggest the best road approach in her welcome email

Понравилось Friendly welcome and fabulous view, small site with a relaxed vibe, no strict “rules”Great walks in the area.

Не понравилось The entrance road to the site is full of potholes you need to pick your route through them it’s shared with other properties who obviously don’t share any costs to maintain it. The facilities are basic and the site would benefit from a good tidy up. It’s a sloping grass field, we thought expensive for what we got, have paid less for more

Понравилось Friendly welcome from Dave, helped us choose a suitable pitch and we managed to get a great view too. Very quiet area lots of walking opportunities but we were only staying one night. Felt safe, liked the site barrier and key code system. Clean toilets and shower with plenty of hot water

Не понравилось The road that we took to the site was quite narrow for a motor home but I think we came the wrong way as when we left we took a much better route. Either way it was worth the effort.

Понравилось Loved this little place, spacious pitches, friendly welcome from Jayne along with information prior to check in via text. Site kept very tidy and liked the friendly sheep in the field opposite. Info on local area including walks and places to eat. Heard an owl during the night. Would definitely return.

Понравилось Lovely site, immaculately kept grounds, chose this site because of close proximity to cycle routes. The site Managers were very helpful and you could see they took real pride in their site.

Не понравилось Not a major thing, but only one ladies toilet in the block closest to our pitch
