Понравилось we were only there one night as we had a wedding close by the next day but it was a lovely site and the toilet and shower block were lovely, clean and tidy.

Понравилось It was basic, basically a farmers field with some toilets and paid showers. We knew this before we went and for the price we were happy with it. I loved the atmosphere TBH it was a great site. Wifi was great!

Не понравилось I paid for a shower and it didnt work because the internet dropped. they were going to resolve it but we ended up leaving earlier than expected.

Понравилось Another fantastic trip! we went back after not having long enough last time we visited. Great hosts and toilet and showers are fantastic.

Понравилось Spacious flat pitches, toilet block was lovely, immaculate and well kept. Owners were so friendly. We stayed because we were photographing a wedding in the area but will definitely be back. Loved watching the sheep and cows too

Понравилось We booked last minute on the way back from France travelling to Manchester and what a brilliant site! We will definitely be back because we loved it. The host who met us in as super lovely, nattered like old friends… the toilets were brilliant, sparkling clean and warm and the showers were fantastic. Very room not like some sites where you can’t even turn round, best of all no stupid push button that you need to keep pressing, an actual proper hot nice shower. My husband loved the pub and the pitches were perfectly flat. We will 100% be back for a longer visit soon.

Понравилось Really friendly hosts, site was lovely. A nice park for children (we didn’t have any with us) toilets were nice and warm and showers were great.

Понравилось Lovely little site, facilities were very clean and stocked up daily. Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Really helpful when needed. Pitches were flat. Very quiet site Overall lovely, the only reason we wouldn’t stay again is because there wasn’t much I could do as I’m disabled.

Не понравилось A couple of things we noticed were, there wasn’t much to do apart from walking. This was probably our own fault for not researching the area better before we arrived. When I had a shower, I had to keep hold of the button because the water went off very quickly, showers are also quite small so as a plus size girl, I did struggle a little to get dressed afterwards. From the photos I had hoped for a good view when we opened the back of the camper van door, however from the field we were and you had to walk to see the bay. The only view we had really was the field and other campers. Also found there was a lack of water taps for drinking water, one in each field would be a good shout.

Понравилось This was our second stay here and everything was fantastic once again. Showers are always clean and plenty or hot water. Facilities are basic but perfect for your needs

Не понравилось We arrived on site and went to reception. We were given our pitch which had shared EHU with 3/4 other pitches which made things difficult. the field was extremely unlevel so we spent the night rolling from one side of the bed to the other. We booked for the sea view but were given a pitch across the field so asked to move (spaces were available) and we were just told no with no explanation, we were actually dealt with by 2 young kids. We were most put out by having to pay £1 for a timed shower even though we had paid £100 near enough for 3 nights in our own accommodation in a field. We then had to leave early as my daughter had to be taken to hospital and we messaged about our 2 remaining nights enquiring about a possible partial refund. We were again given no explanation and just told no, then we had our booking cancelled so we were unable to return or pass our booking onto a friend so they could at least use it as our hard earned money was just taken.

От менеджера: It is so frustrating when people print downright lies! On arrival these two persons where greeted with extreme politeness by the site manager (our daughter) who is 35 years old and definitely not a young kid! The ehu's, as clearly explained to these two, are NOT shared. Each pitch has its own supply which is located on one post. It is the post that is shared-not the electricity supply. Despite this they still complained! This couple did NOT request a sea view on their booking but had been allocated a huge pitch with a glorious sea view anyway but they still asked to move. Normally we would accommodate any such request without hesitation but, being a bank holiday, we were fully booked! The showers are from 20p up to a maximum of £1 depending upon how long you require. We used to provide free showers but this caused multiple problems with people washing clothes, washing wet suits, washing dishes, washing dogs and much much more. Not only this but customers would take advantage, and spend a long, long time using them creating queues and causing frustration to other customers. For whatever reason, they decided that our site was not for them and decided to try and receive a refund by showing us a picture of a sad faced daughter telling us she had broken her foot. Even if this were true-which we doubt-not exactly a life threatening emergency as you might get the impression from the comments. We were texted by this couple who asked re the possibility of a refund. A polite message was sent back to remind them of the policy as detailed in Pitchup. They replied "O'k no worries, thanks". If they had asked to pass on the booking to a friend we would have happily agreed but no such request was made-what a load of twaddle. This couple booked 3 nights over a bank holiday preventing any other potential customers booking the pitch. They decided for some unknown reason our site was not for them and chose to leave-they cancelled the booking, NOT us! We would argue that from start to finish, we received a negative approach from this couple who, in our opinion, felt 'entltled' wanting the best of everything, forgetting the whole ethos of camping.

Не понравилось The thought the quiet hours (8pm) were a tad early. Took a projector and screen for a movie but it didn’t go dark enough until after the quiet hours. Tried playing games (badminton and football) with the kids and both games were spoilt by the on site dog who although only wanted to play, kept stealing the shuttlecock and popped the ball (the owner did pay towards a new one)
