Не понравилось No marked pitches picked a suitable area only for someone to park their van 4 ft away later in the day, one group with large tent parked two cars side by side taking up a pitch. At least two vehicles turned up late and left v early, had they paid ? A lot of barbecue debris left in hedges and litter left by neglectful guests. More vigilance required

Понравилось The site itself was wonderful, free to park / pitch wherever you liked plenty of room The toilets / showers etc were immaculate as were the rest of the facilities. Owners v friendly and an ideal base for touring the Cotswolds It was the last of seven campsites we stayed at on a road trip to Peak District, Yorkshire and Cotswolds and we both agreed it was the best site by far We will definitely be returning, would highly recomend

Понравилось Location, stunning views, facilities were new and could be excellent but being abused by some leaving them dirty. Too many people and not enough facilities

Не понравилось Pop up bar seemed to be a magnet for people in cars in the evening Cars were in and out some at far too high a speed for the site and in doing so kicked up a load of dust from the access road which blew across all our pitches. Chemical disposal needs upgrading, it was gross, pipe apparently blocked with effluent when opened. One bin at entrance which again caused people camping in the fields to use their car to deposit rubbish

Не понравилось The campsite facilities are unacceptable . To start, the ladies toilet were dirty the toilet seat was broken and did not sit on the toilet correctly it was obvious they weren’t cleaned on a regular basis. The shower cubicle was disgraceful there was a quite pungent smell of damp and again hadn’t been cleaned regularly there was a shower mat on the tray which was disgusting. Because of the above I declined to use the shower just as well we were only there for two nights. The chemical disposal point was horrific I opened the lid and saw it was half full and blocked I felt I was unable to use it. We won’t be returning

Понравилось Everything, location, layout of site, view, immaculate facilities can’t fault it.The owner even came around with welding masks so we could see the eclipse. Would highly recommend the site , give it a go, you won’t be disappointed

Понравилось Location, size of site nice and small Owner very friendly and helpful Facilities were spotless and laundry room was a big bonus Will return if in the area again and would highly recommend you give this site a try it’s a little gem

Понравилось Stunning location, but only a short walk to Sedburgh. Simple but spotless toilets / showers. Owners v friendly, came around with logs for sale every night and collected rubbish in the morning. Quiet in the evening in spite of it being full and lots of children. Looks like there are improvements being made possibly to washing up area ?? Would highly recommend, don’t hesitate to book

Не понравилось Where do I start, firstly I am not in the business of trying to ruin people’s livelihood however how on earth does this site get an 8 + rating is beyond me. Our two “ hard standing “ pitches were patches of grass next to the stream one at 90 degrees to the other and a stones throw from the car park. To be fair the one pitch was quite nice but the other adjacent to the road leading to the tent field was less than private and with a not pleasant view of the frequently busy car park. We could accept this no problem as we were only there for two nights but what was totally unacceptable in my opinion was the state of the facilities. The one male toilet was constantly dirty, ( the floor was muddy ) did not appear to have been cleaned throughout our visit, there was no running hot water just a cold tap with a very grubby sink. There was no way I would entertain washing or cleaning my teeth there. That brings me onto the one shower available, I am not fussy by any means but one step inside and the musty damp smell that’s hits you made me avoid it for the duration of our stay, the sealant around the base was black and I dread to think when the shower head was last renewed, a hygeine issue waiting to happen. Serious money needs to be spent completely renovating the facilities they really are not acceptable and are by far the worst we have experienced in our many years of camping. We will not return and I can’t in all honesty recommend this site to anyone please do not believe everything you read in the reviews as I did

Понравилось Kate was v friendly and welcoming We were lucky as the site was quite quiet and had a huge pitch to ourselves. Lovely simple back to nature layout, stunning surrounding countryside.

Не понравилось Showers a bit of a tight squeeze the dreaded shower curtain sticking to you at all angles and no eco chemical grey water disposal. Maybe something to consider
