Понравилось Lovely site was stunning views over the coast especially sunrise and we saw dolphins. Facilities were cleaned daily and kept well (only time we ever saw any issues was when other campers weren't respectful so not the sites fault) lovely pub open weekends with super friendly owners and staff. Walking distance to the town and beach (there is access from the site if you are able or it is about 10 minutes walk to the promenade). Great spot and we will be back.

Понравилось Lovely site, peaceful location, everything was so well kept and even during the busy bank holiday weekend then facilities were spotless. Jimmy was on hand and very friendly. Lake was lovely during the hot weather we were gutted it was no swimming as the water was so clear. Couldn't fault anything about the stay. Showers really were some of the best we've used.

Понравилось Lovely site with great views of the hills. Great having the dog walking field too. Dave was really helpful and on hand to show us where everything was. Showers were powerful and hot. Nice quiet site too.

Не понравилось Facilities could have been cleaned a bit more regularly when it was busy and when Dave was away.

Понравилось Good size pitches, facilities kept clean, owner was very friendly and helpful. Nice location and peaceful. Lovely hot water in the showers, washing up and sinks. Also handy tip is the farm next door runs a butchers counter from their home a few days a week. Nice views of bowland hills and lake district on clear days.

Не понравилось A lot of light pollution around the site at night, some of them would be better on sensors rather than on all the time. Gravel was quite chunky and you could roll an ankle on them. Some campers left a litter around the site (appreciate that's not the owners fault just other campers) also the local pub is currently closed hopefully that will change

Понравилось Great site, spotless facilities and owner Andrew was super friendly and helpful. Site is lovely and quiet and well kept. Great walks around the site and also nearby. Easy access public footpaths from the site but also some great places short drives away. Couldn't fault our stay.

Понравилось Well spaced out site, pitches all well kept. Great location being at the back of the pub and lots of lovely walks nearby. Staff in the pub very helpful and food was lovely. Shower was great lovely and hot and great water pressure one of the best campsite showers we've had.

Не понравилось Could really do at least 1 separate toilet as at one point had to wait 20 minutes to use the loo as someone was showering. Also was tortured by the smell of back for the hotel guests (maybe offer breakfasts to campsite or at least breakfast rolls, would have made the wait for the toilet better)

Понравилось Great location closer to the beach and direct access. Lovely staff super friendly, facilities were clean. Secure site as well. Will definitely come back.

Не понравилось Only niggle was the power would often cut out for a minute or so before the back up generator would kick in and then cut again when the power was restored.

Не понравилось Toilet flushes were a bit iffy so often there would be presents left, showers don't stay on for that long and in the autumn the water could be warmer too. Also some people had fireworks on the site which did make us nervous with the vans and awnings not sure if it was approved by the owners but not sure it would be something that should have been sanctioned.

Понравилось Great site, lovely clean facilities with well kept pitches. Shower had plenty of hot water and same with the washing up facilities. Owners were really friendly and on hand for anything. They kept a close eye on the site to keep on top of things. Loved the apples on site and proximity to the farm shop and Stratford. Our second time on site and probably won't be the last.

Понравилось Great facilities kept clean. Nice having the bar, restaurant, crazy golf, laundry and pool all on site. Can walk to New Quay too although it is quite a hill coming back (they do run a shuttle on site but we didn't use it). Staff were all really friendly. Prices in the bar/ restaurant aren't inflated either. Whole site is well looked after. We did have accident happen with the grass cutting but the staff handled it so well that's why it is on the positives for us. Great prices for low season pitches as well given the facilities not sure on the high season costs. Great site.

Не понравилось Only niggles but not enough to affect our rating. Ladies loos/showers a few of locks were broken so did limit how many could be used. Showers don't stay on for long and lights in the shower section turn off very quickly and sensor is poorly positioned so you can't get it back on whilst in the shower.

Понравилось Lovely site, great location with waterfalls close by, was able to walk to Pen-Y-Fan and Brecon. Site owners are very friendly and always on hand if you need anything. Facilities were clean and tidy.

Не понравилось Couple very minor niggles with hot water in the showers and washing up area. Also the lights in both the toilets and showers don't stay on very long. However it is great site.

Понравилось The site has a lot of potential and it is nice having a cafe on site. The road noise is not that bad as other reviews have suggested however this is where the positives end for us.

Не понравилось This week stay is the worst we have experienced and we even left the site two days early. Whilst the shower / toilet facilities are desperately in need of work but the owners did acknowledge this in their welcome email. Unfortunately for the owners the site seems to attract a certain level of camper and whilst we accept this isn't the owners fault. They didn't seem to inspect the site regularly so we had a family on site for most of our stay who were less than respectful with children running riot, riding electric motorbikes in the site at around 50mph doing wheelies. They also damaged the toilets several times, left litter around the site and made it so we couldn't relax. When they left we had one night of peace to enjoy the site before the next horrible family arrived. They pitched around half a meter from us and proceeded to play music overly loud. They walked over pitch and when we asked them not to we were met with attitude and they turned the music up. We didn't report these issues to the owner as the kind of people they were they would have made our time even harder so we left and as we're packing up we talked about behind our back. Overall a horrible experience and I appreciate we didn't give the chance to resolve these matters but they should have been on site more regularly to inspect and see the issues and speak to those campers themselves however I do suspect the owners also wanted an easy life and didn't want the confrontation themselves.

Понравилось Great location, canal was beautiful and great for going to the pub as well. Large pitches was lots of space (when people park sensibly).

Не понравилось As above the pitches aren't clearly marked on the grass field so some people parked very close to us. Whilst the toilets were cleaned every morning they still were dirty and by the afternoon needed cleaning again. Having the toilet and shower in the same cubicle and only 5 for a very large site meant sometimes they were occupied with people showering and when you needed to go to the loo and you couldn't. The chemical waste was by the marina and difficult to use. Most electric points had water too but ours didn't so we had to walk onto other pitches to get to the water. Pitches very uneven level and even using our ramps we still weren't level.

Понравилось Lovely quiet site, clean facilities and plenty of space. Site was perfect and pitches were a great size. Facilities were kept nice and clean. Right on the river and we used our kayak on the river. Ramsey is easy to get by road.

Не понравилось Only minor issue was lots of wasps by the door to ladies loo but if you were calm they didn't sting.

Понравилось Lovely site, great location. Ideal for getting into Worcester and having amenities nearby. Still undergoing works on site and facilities all new. Warden was very helpful when there was an issue on site with another camper teaching his 10yr child to drive on the site. Would come again as it is great so the dislikes are minor points / tips as the owners learn. Lovely hot water on site as well. Will be beautiful I'm sure when finished.

Не понравилось Not necessarily dislikes but maybe tips for the owners as they may be still learning too. Less attention should be focused on striming and maybe a half an hour daily clean / check of toilets and showers as often other campers would leave them in a mess or we were without toilet paper for days. Bins / chemical waste are quite walk away not sure if anything can actually be changed on that as appreciate it floods in the winter. We ended up using our bike to take bits as we were the end pitch but that was ideal for the stairs to toilets. Most people walk up the bank which the rules say don't but most ignored that so perhaps additional steps are needed. Grass cutting / striming was carried out very close to the vans on site and did make me nervous if a stone flicked up maybe wait until a pitch is vacant to works right behind.

Понравилось Great site! Owner Jane was lovely and so welcoming, Phil & Steve that help on the site were also friendly and helpful. Facilities were kept nice and clean. Great views over the hills and across to Dartmoor. Nice and quiet on the site too apart from birds, sheep and cows. Walked to Woolsery a couple of times easy to get to but up and down a few hills so not for the faint hearted. Village has regular buses, shop, pub and fish & chips. Such a great site.

Понравилось Facilities were spotlessly clean, lovely hot showers and great to have washing facilities too. Site owner/ warden was very friendly. Nice views over the valley. Nice bakery just up the road as well.

Не понравилось No public footpaths around the surrounding areas but that's not sites fault. Site was great and there is a bus stop at the crossroads for the A38 which is handy to get places.

Понравилось Louise the manager was a great host and really knew the area. Site was clean and tidy, facilities well managed. Location was great, walk down the lane and you are right on the beach. We were sad to leave.

Понравилось Corina was lovely and such a helpful host. Site was well kept and great having a national trust just up the back with great walks. Close to the bus stop for Salisbury. Site was generally pretty quiet (except the trains but it is clear from the location how close the trains are and they aren't too frequent)

Не понравилось Bit cramped when busy, would be nice to have a tumble dryer, shower was a little temperamental at times - these are pretty minor though as it was a lovely site and we had a great stay.

Понравилось Sue the site warden was very helpful. She understands the site and should be made manager (in our opinion) The location was good, bus stop close by, pub nearby and great river walks.

Не понравилось roadways in the camping field to be better maintained or tarmacked - it was very muddy getting around the site - hard standings to be made wider and better hard material as around the pitches again it was very muddy and you end up bringing all that mud into van. - foot path from the camping field to the toilet block / foot bridge again very muddy and very slippery - the water point to our pitch 18 was cracked so we used other points on the site. - lighting in the toilets / showers to be upgraded as when showering the timer would go off so you were in the dark. Also the ladies had some broken lights. - heating to be put in the showers for the winter as it was freezing in there at times especially after being under the hot water. -needs enclosed washing up facilities - I know this niggle could be down to other campers but often the shower cubicles were quite muddy - possibly more cleaning or if the roads / paths were upgraded the issue wouldn't occur in the first instance - our pitch was right next to where they were doing works so the workmen were churning the grass and mud right by our van so made it harder to get around as well. - walk way to the toilets flooded as well after a storm so better drainage around the toilets is needed. The path was very slippery after this as well from all the mud
