Понравилось Very clean and staff were friendly

Не понравилось Although there seem to be many facilities there they are mostly closed ( this is June not Nov). One male shower and toilet for the whole site!! Two female showers and a toilet for the whole site. Recptn is never manned and you have to call to check in or get anything from them. Although there are local pubs within walking distance they don't serve food much and are mostly empty.

Не понравилось Booked into here last Dec but weather warnings meant we had to postpone our visit which they held a credit for. On arrival there was a mix up with our planned pitch and we had to move to another pitch. Apparently the people on our pitch should have checked out but were still there??? Apparently people have been moving around a lot and the owners couldn't keep track of who was where. All became clear as the night went on as the pitch we were given was (31) right under a bright lamp post which shone through our camper window ALL NIGHT. I assume the previous occupants moved to avoid a second sleepless night. The facilities are generally clean and tidy and drinks are well priced in the bar. If I return I think we will be wise to this trick now as there is only one lamp post on the site and stay well away!!!

От менеджера: Happy that you would stay again despite the pitch mixup. Feel free to mention the light if you book again. As you are aware, we are situated in open countryside, and therefore the nights are quite dark. Great for stargazing, but terrible for guests to find their way to the facilities in the dark.

Понравилось We booked a hard standing pitch recently but weather warnings stopped us travelling so we asked for a.refund of our fee. We were offered a credit to be used at later stage and I am awaiting confirmation of how we use and document to this credit due from the site. I have emailed twice but am yet to here a reply 🤷

Понравилось Staff were friendly and everything was very easy. Pitches are not marked out or allocated which makes for some interesting arrangements 😂 but nothing was a problem. Showers and toilets are quirky but work well enough 👍

Не понравилось The pub has some funny opening hours which makes for interesting planning around meal times, nothing disastrous . Also in the middle.of nowhere so no other choices around

Понравилось Excellent pitch sizes and friendly staff. Clean toilet and shower facilities as well as great views over the bay.

Понравилось Facilities and clean appearance of the whole site. Efficient reception and check in process. Easy way to buy essential items without leaving the site.

Не понравилось Kings Arms locals are an interesting bunch???...Went there one evening and was almost interrogated about where I was staying, what type of camper I had and why my partner had a phone which was older than two years old??? They had obviously been in the bar for a fair will 😂

Понравилось Showers and Toilets and clean and tidy. Site is very easy to find and use. Secure as well due to locking gates that only residents can use.

Не понравилось Not many places to eat locally which would have been nice but we coped.
