Понравилось Self entry, code shared by email, turn up, pop it in and you’re away. Really easy. Lovely natural site, not like some hard standings where you feel like you’re at a caravan park, tonnes of tree coverage, stream, nature, plenty of room between pitches. Toilet block simple but clean and suitable.

Понравилось Remote location (this feels very remote - zero mobile reception and a heck of a drive off the beaten path. Bring what you need with you!) Peaceful - no road noise obviously, nice walks near by Hot shower WiFi - as mentioned, zero mobile reception. Zero. It’s not the best, you must be within sight of the antenna for it to work, so mostly a “send the wife a message to let her know you’re out of signal” level of service rather than sitting in the van watching Netflix, but not a big deal just something worth being aware of.

Не понравилось Difficult one to call out, when I arrived the lady I dealt with was pleasant and welcoming. I was due to arrive an hour later than the final “check in” - emailed to let sure know ahead of time, got a slightly snarky response. Unusual in my experience, especially considering there was no welcome tour or similar, just hello, park where you like, this really could have just been done in an email consisting of “no worries. I won’t be around. Let yourself in”. Toilet/shower/washing area. Could be cleaner. Didn’t LOOK the cleanest, but camping, I expect it’s hard to keep them clean. Fair enough. However. The smell was interesting. I was glad I was only staying for 1 night due to this.

Понравилось Lovely site. Absolutely pitch dark which makes star gazing superb. Warm welcome from the host. Facilities good.

Понравилось Pitch - enormous. I’m only in a T5 camper but saw people with what look like enormous caravans plus car parked up with room to spare. Pitches were great, electrics, water etc. perfectly level. Hard standing which is nice when camping in wales with rain. Shower and toilet block is genuinely the best I’ve seen anywhere. Warm! It was so warm! Plenty of space in showers with bench and dividing area to help prevent getting your clothes wet. Welcome was excellent. Staff friendly. 2 minutes walk to folly farm if you’re interested in that. Playground decent. Smaller than expected given the size of those in the park but this isn’t really a complaint! WiFi top notch. Password is on the shower building so no digging around through information etc. Information pack provided upon stay is also worth of the Welsh tourist board if you’re new to the area.

Не понравилось Showers have a push to activate system - fine. Normal. Push it and you get maybe 7 seconds of water - weird. Yes I get the idea behind these but give us enough time to actually have a wash! It’s fine, you’ll end up holding it down with one hand but surely this can be adjusted. (I used the yelllow door if that helps).
