Понравилось The facilities were very good and kept very clean. Loved the extra touch of the hairdryers & straighteners in the ladies changing rooms. Everything seemed to have been covered from the washing up liquid for washing up, wetsuit washing & drying area and BBQ washing area and the labels & Pens for labelling up the ice packs to go in the free to use freezers. Pitches were nice and big. The location was great, 5 minute walk into the village to The Thatch pub and shops or 5 minutes in another direction to The Manor House Inn - both great pubs. Couple of cafes/restaurant to eat in as well as the pubs, but we didn’t get to try those. We were able to pay an extra £5 for a later check out which worked well for us so we didn’t have to be up and packed up so early and managed to get another walk down to the beach which was only a short walk away. The National Trust cafe was also very nice and not far from the beach. Campsite was nice and quiet.

Не понравилось Not so much a dislike and was totally understandable for environmental reasons - the washing up water was cold or luke warm. I just heated up some water at the tent and took it down to the washing up station when I had a greasy pan.

Понравилось Staff were friendly, both in the pub and the guy that showed us to our pitch and explained the set up. Pitches were nice and flat and the site wasn’t too big and was lovely and quiet. The showers were nice and hot, you just had to keep pressing the button before the water stopped. The pub was a bonus, especially when the weather really got too hot, it was lovely and cool inside. The Sunday carvery looked lovely but we had already sorted our dinner.

Понравилось My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights as a trial to see how her young dog would cope with camping. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay as a first time with a dog. The site was lovely and quiet and we had plenty of room around our tent. Yes there could do with another ladies loo but as most people had caravans not many people used the toilets and they were kept very clean. The showers were good, it was nice to have an area to change in. The hot water was great both in the showers and also to do the washing up. One of the best bits of our weekend was having the pub right on our doorstep and a pub that did great food and had very nice friendly staff. From the moment we arrived with a lively young dog we felt welcomed. It was an added bonus that the night we arrived there was live music. We had a great few days and would definitely return.
