Понравилось Right from the word "Go!" it was worth the visit. Simple friendly check in. Had a chance to choose a perfect spot overlooking the sea. Spotless toilets. Great equipped wash area with drying rack provided. A fridge of you needed it and even power to charge up your phones. Highlight for us was seeing some dolphins from where we sat outside the campervan and you must try the fresh farm eggs. Purchased both days for our breakfast. Fresh and full of flavour. Will definitely come again

Понравилось Great layout. Ideal for winter months with the hard standing. Brand new water, waste and power to each stand. With good WiFi included. Very helpful staff. New, clean and warm toilet and shower block. Plus washing area. Couldn't fault.

Понравилось Amazing views, clean sight. Great fire pits. We still managed to stay here even though our hosts needed to close the site early in the season. Gave us a huge bag of logs for lack of toilets etc. We had our own in the van so all was good.

Понравилось Nice and clean grass area. Very basic as advertised. Some nice views over the hedge. Great to have water and hook up.

Не понравилось A personal thing for us maybe but too regimental. Not enough grass and your only view was a fence or next doors campervan. My brother had stayed here earlier in the season and his pitch was more of what we'd have liked.

In terms of your "disliked" feedback, we have a few different types and styles of pitch at our campsite with different price points. You chose a hardstanding pitch which are in rows of 3 on 2 separate levels. I suspect your brother may have chosen a hardstand with grass pitch which are slightly more expensive (£2 a night). If you had only spoken to us at the time then we could have relocated you. We can't help once someone has left us of course. What a shame you feel that you wont come back to stay again. I am sorry. Понравилось Just perfect. No frills camping. On our own with great views and spent most of the time watching the local osprey in their nest. Nice river walk too. The smell of the malt from the brewery was also a hit for me though we never got to try the ale

Понравилось Plenty of space. And by the next day we had the field to ourselves. Great location. Certainly off grid apart from a couple of loos. Guests included woodpeckers, buzzards, kestrels and the kingfisher. Hosts were friendly and very helpful. Keep up the excellent work.

Не понравилось Nothing with regards to the place itself, but disliked the total disrespect from other campers for basically fly tipping in the hosts field. Why would you leave chairs, rubbish bags, mattresses and tents behind for them to clear up? Gives those that show respect a bad name. Take your rubbish home with you.!

Понравилось Perfect spot with great views. Had major fly issue first night but the owner popped over with some fly spray to help out.

Не понравилось We arrived on a Saturday afternoon. Extremely busy. Needs policing as not everyone stayed within their very large boundaries and found it difficult to find a space for ourselves. By next night we were able to move as a lot of people had left.

Понравилось Good clean site with well kept toilets. Great to have a small bar on site if needed. Small issue with a loose dog causing problems with other campers and their dogs was dealt with professionally by the campsite manager.

Понравилось Clean site. With serviced toilets and showers. Hot water for washing pots and chemical waste drain. The views were the icing on the cake. Bats and owls over our heads were also a bonus.

Не понравилось Cars need to be parked by tents and not in front and with the couple in front of us. Spoilt the amazing views as all we could see was their car. Asked politely to move it but made a small effort. Maybe the owner can make a ruling for cars to be parked beside tents. It's one long line of tent pitches so you can't pitch up where you like on the field.

Понравилось Great site with loads of room. Nice clean toilets. Perfect hosts. Came to see if we were OK and wanted to purchase wood for the firepit.

Не понравилось If the pizza van had been in use I'd have felt very uncomfortable using the toilets or shower that are so very close.

Понравилось Perfect quiet surroundings. Great views. Extremely friendly owner. Clean toilets, shower and washing area. No complaints what so ever. And the fresh eggs from the farm chickens were the best ever.

Понравилось Wanted a wilder camping experience and were not disappointed. Even though the field was fairly busy we found a quiet corner and felt very private. The owners came to see us and had logs for sale for the fire pits supplied. Very friendly!! Beautiful clear skies with no light pollution and amazing countryside views. Great place to base yourself for walking around the Peak District. Would highly recommend and will certainly return
