Не понравилось No toilet paper, no toilet seats, no handwash or paper towels to dry your hands after washing them after using the toilet and no hot water in the showers! Come on - you’re a campsite not a sosta! At €35 it’s not good enough to cut back that far.

Не понравилось Being woken up by the tractor cutting the grass at 8am in the morning! The site is close to a very busy train line - a train every 5mins!

Понравилось Pleasant site next to the river

Не понравилось Very difficult to find due to poor signage - get better signage as your road looks like a dirt track. Could not gain entry. There was a lack of proper instructions provided before arriving to gain entry through the barrier. I pressed the 'help' button and was presented with someone who could not speak English and then just cut me off. How rude! The second time with a recorded message in the local language. Just a simple set of instructions on the barrier in English would be most welcome (this would help many nations not just English people). It's alright having these digital systems however when they go wrong it means that folks can't get on the site!

Понравилось Nice and quiet

Не понравилось We arrived and our name wasn't on the board to let us know what pitch we were on. We rang - no answer so we chose our own pitch. The electricity supply is only 6 amps and we couldn't even boil the kettle with all other electrical appliances off! It mentioned that the site was 6 amps but as we have never been on a site with such a mean supply, we didn't realise the implication of that. We paid (which I thought was expensive at the time of booking) £35 per night for electrical hook up! We have paid less for far more electricity/facilities/helpful owners. What made it worse was there was only one ladies toilet and shower and they were in the same room so if the shower was being used, you couldn't use the toilet. I saw 19 pitches indicated on the board as we came in so insufficient facilities anyway. Although the room was heated it was full of dusty cobwebs and if that doesn't say that it wasn't cleaned, I don't know what does.

От менеджера: Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, I'm sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. As I explained to you via text we had had an emergency on the yard and I hadn't had time to do the board with the same day bookings, and instead of moving you to the correct pitch I swapped you with the people who had been allocated that pitch. Your pitch number and also a note reminding you that our hookups are only six amp at the moment was also on the booking confirmation you received from us. Our hookups are currently only six amp as we are having to upgrade our supply which is taking time to organise as we are at the mercy of Northern power grid. This is stated on PitchUp as you read, however I can not control weather you bother to take the time to look into what this will mean for your stay. There are in fact 2 shower/toilet blocks that are clearly marked on the site map, which are cleaned every day!. Although I am aware we do have very industruse spiders that insist on frequenting our facilities. :(

Не понравилось We thought the site was scruffy. The facilities were terrible. Located in a portacabin which had seen better days. There were cobwebs everywhere full of lots of dead flys etc. so they had been there a long time. The whole site desperately needs some TLC.
