Small site, good location for walking, cycling and getting out and about.

Noise from the busy main road, cars arriving and leaving at strange times …. Late at night ?
Some pitches seemed a little squashed & a lot mot level.
Facilities were mediocre….. clean though.

Layout was good and own choice of pitch

Poor toilet facilities in rear area. Wash up area was a sink sitting on bricks water going straight from sink to drain, no pipe. Chemical disposal has no cover, fresh water tap right next to it. Shower kept switching from scalding hot to stone cold, nothing in between. Over priced at £45 for one night.

Handy for Bangor and Anglesey.
Having been here a few times it was a familiar setup for a budget campsite.
Basic but clean facilities.
An area for the children to play in.

There was a loud party on one night from a group who were clearly regulars. This went on until after 1am, even for the young children who were part of this extended group. This is not advertised as a quiet site but you may wish to consider this if bringing a young family.

The electrical point for the pitch didn't work but, as the campsite had some vacancies, the adjacent pitch electrical point did work so I was able to use that. Checking the electrical point before pitching the tent is not something you think of doing but perhaps something that should be checked on site?

Very clean showers,toilet. A lovely relaxed site.
The children loved the park and the camping experience.
We would go again. Great location to visit different places.

On approaching the site there were alpacas so the kids were very excited. We spoke to a really nice lady who showed us which electric pitches were available for us. We pitched up on the field side. There was a big group when we got there so was expecting some noise that night but no, they were very respectful and was quiet from 10pm. We couldn’t get our electric to work so spoke to reception, she said the man would be over in approx 30kins however he was there as we walked back to our tent. Very helpful, friendly and jolly. He came past the day after to make sure everything was still ok. The showers are a push button which is timed and are located outside of the cubical. Plenty of time to shower yourself however I was showering with my toddler so has to get out half way to press it, trying not to be seen. Overall we loved our stay here and would definitely go back.
We went for days out to rhosneiger 30mins away, gorgeous beach with rock pools, walked to the waterfall at abe fells and crabbing at Beaumaris (Stayed for 3nights. Kids aged 9&2)

Maybe a mop and bucket in showers as floor was extremely wet and no way of clearing up water after showers.

Area well set out for all types of camping, caravan site area, protected by vast wall around it, very friendly owners & staff, very helpful. Close to a lot of beautiful scenery around Bangor area, close to Menai Bridge.

Loved passing the alpacas on the way in and very friendly and helpful young lady who gave us a choice of pitches.
The electric pitch was close to the toilet which was great for our toddler.
There was a lovely park to entertain our toddler and 12yr old teenager, our 16yr old seems to have out grown parks since our last camping trip ;)

Unfortunately 3 of the nearby tents got together and had a party with a music speaker. They only stopped to tidy when our toddler woke, screamed and struggled to settle at 1am due to their noise! Disappointing as they had plenty of young children themselves.
Noise could be avoided by a campsite curfew - not aware of one here.
