Nice location good amenities

The price was to expensive steak and ale pie which was below par. There was no Wi-Fi and we were supposed to have had it did not get a welcome pack on arrival people next to us in caravan paed less for the pitch than us shower block was shut when we needed it toilets were blocked our pitch was on a slope and under a tree where pigeons poo on our tent

Easy check in / good range of facilities especially for families / pool staff extremely friendly & professional / good size pitches

Pool facilities weren’t the cleanest with mould and dirt in the toilet area especially around the disabled shower area / toilet paper missing in shower block and hand wash empty in Elsan area

Staff were very good and helpful .. kids playground was good ... Great veranda for adults to watch from .. evening entertainment was so so loud had to walk out - both our kids walked in and turned around quick to get out ...

Site was looking very run down and tired ... Broken fences around the pitches and just left there .. alot of rubbish around the site ... Swimming pool looked tired could do with a lick of paint...toilet block looked very worn too ..alot of maintenance to do ...

The scenery was beautiful.

The toilet blocks and shower blocks where filthy. There was rubbish everywhere. We asked for a tap to be put on at the water supply and this never happened. The children where fighting and swearing. The park is also covered in wasps and the swimming pool lining is all raised

Location of the site

Not enough facilities on site like toilets and showers. Not cleaned often enough for the number of people using them. Whenever cleaned done in busiest time. No chance to get a space on swimming pool.

Variety of amusements/ pool

Pool was tiny, loud and impossible to book. We travelled with our son who has disabilities and it was incredibly hard to turn up and be turned away, or then wait 20 minutes for a session to start to guarantee a session. The pool was noisy with loud music so our son had his fingers in his ears a lot. The slide is right next to the baby pool so the bigger kids often kicked the cold puddle water at the baby pool splashing babies.

There was no schedule for activities when we arrived. When turning up we had no idea what was on. This could have been provided in the information pack. The electric hook up was also broken and generally not working.

The view

Absolutely filthy toilets and showers, never any toilet roll in there either. We camp a lot and these were the worst facilities we have encountered. The showers were always cold, half of them didnt lock, there is no where dry within the showers to get dressed. They stank, and as for the disabled shower/toilet, there are no words. The floor was constantly wet and dirty, it stank in there, the shower ran cold all the time. The price we paid for the pitch i atleast expect clean showers and toilet roll. Disgusting.

The size of the pitch and the closeness of the electric hookup. Most staff were very friendly. Arrived early and our pitch was ready. Very lovely views from the pitch.

The facilities, toilets were old and never any soap to wash hands hardly ever toilet roll. Advertising in the toilets and around the site was very very old advertising a chip shop which opened in 2017 as new. Showers were filthy, the wash up facility was always very smelly and the bins were not emptied regularly enough they were filled with flies. The boathouse restaurant was overpriced and food quality was poor.

Not a lot!

Toilets were atrocious. Locks missing toilet paper constantly running out cleaning was poor quality and infrequent. Complained and very little was done about it but lots of excuses. It was a poorly managed touring site.
The quality of the camping pitches was also poor. Rough stone on clay, very uneven and not a good bind for pegs.
I would not recommend it.

Nothing

All of it. Adults staying up late, smoking and swearing in he’s away from where my children were trying to sleep. Dog poo everywhere. Activities were a joke, not as advertised at all. Left 2 days early.
