Loved the site, easy access to the beach, brilliant little shop with everything you might need, friendly staff. The barman was a great source of information with regards to the festival on at the time. We'll definitely be going back in the future

Toilets and showers could have been cleaner, but I have seen much worse.

price and site, and facilities would be great if they were up to the mark!

State of washroom, cleaning staff seemed incapable of doing a good job and I can not think of any reason why toilet paper should run out 2 days out of 4 when site was not busy.

Restaurant also disappointing as tables were dirty first thing in the morning and lots of menu items not available even though the site was not busy

Toilets regularly missing toilet roll, showers not cleaned

Nothing.

Awful. Reception closed at 4:30 we were allocated a pitch via text. The showers were miles away, pitch on a slope. The facilities that they offered were 10-15 mins walk away. Pitches were tiny with no security anyone could walk in and out of the site. Just horrible. We didn’t stay. We just left straight away.

Close to a lovely beach and coastal walk. Helpful staff, including the camping warden, reception staff and bar/restaurant. Price paid was excellent.

Facilities could be better, just small things that should be easily put right. No toilet roll, not replenished often enough, no soap etc. Lock missing from shower door rendering it unusable. Missing hooks etc. no bin in the gents room, just silly things that should be done. Very tired looking.

The site staff - particularly Ian, lovely man

Shower block - don’t mind tired facilities but they were unkempt and although a cleaner came in twice a day they were not cleaned. Only the floor was mopped, the showers weren’t cleaned- a dirty flannel hung over one cubicle for 3 days until I pointed it out to the very unfriendly cleaner who just wanted to show me a toilet blocked up with toilet paper - that wasn’t my problem and I didn’t put the paper in it!
The cleaners really need to be shown how to clean.
No mops for people to mop out showers themselves which you get at all other campsites I’ve been at.
Sanitary disposal bibs not emptied.
Soap dispensers hanging off the wall.
Showers only ran for about 10 seconds at a time - that’s probably generous.
Never a queue to use them - but I can see why.
No access to public transport - not on a bus route. If you don’t have a car, taxis are your only option.
IoW Festival promoted on the website but no way of getting to it - no shuttle bus option which is incredible for such a remote site and a real missed business opportunity for the site.
Too dangerous to cycle and too far to walk in to Newtown.
Very poor pitches - dangerous slopes especially when the grass was wet.
Club facilities - people staying on touring pitches had restricted access - second class treatment.
The only option for food if you didn’t bring your own was the clubhouse - it’s not gourmet food.
There was a fish & chip shop but it wasn’t open for all of the 6 days we were there.
Overall disappointing site - the staff (apart from the cleaner) and the sunshine lessened the blow.
