Amenities block needs condemning, the reception is a dark shed & you are just shown a map of the site that looks like it’s been drawn by a 4 year old but unable to distinguish hard standing from grass as all over grown.

The pub was amazing next door great people, great music, great cider!! If you like lively and fun then it’s certainly worth a visit!!
The pitches were fantastically flat. Well laid out and in a beautiful location. Shower - warm and powerful!!

Showers and toilets - if you don’t mind cobwebs you’ll be fine. Care and attention to this is needed - lots of dead bugs and spiders not nice to look at when you want to shower. There was no cold water for cleaning teeth!! Toilet doors didn’t lock!!
Despite this I would stay again and we did enjoy our stay 😊

The site was generally clean and tidy and not overly busy. It was also quiet and the tent field was tucked around the back of the campsite.

The nearby pub was pleasant with an excellent beer and cider selection. It sits on the bank of the Severn which was a lovely place to sit and enjoy a pint in the sun while the children could paddle in the water.

Having read terrible reviews for the site, we were a little concerned, but actually found everything to be generally fine and had a very enjoyable few days with friends.

The shower and toilet block really could do with some work to bring it up to standard as it's pretty tired, but that said, it was kept clean and everything sort of worked, so we shouldn't grumble too much.

A great little campsite. We were pitched as a group in the field furthest from the river, lovely to see and hear all the wildlife nearby, even a cuckoo alarm clock! Plenty of space for the children to play. Facilities were basic but clean and tidy. Good pub on site.

The location was brilliant, it was only a minutes walk to the pub which served really nice cider and stone's throw from the river. It was a good 45/50 minute picturesque walk along the river to Tewkesbury. There were a lot of footpaths near by so great to explore from without needing to take the car out.

The tent field was tidy with a water tap in the middle.

We were in a small group of families and were allowed to camp together and were able to pick which plots we had.

The washing up area always had plentiful hot water, but doesn't have plugs in any sinks so make sure you take a washing up bowl.

I had read previous reviews on the toilets and expected the worst, but they were not actually quite as shocking as I had initially thought. Yes in need of renovation and I did worry I was going to put my foot through the wooden ramp. My husband said the Men's was worse than the Ladies but they served their purposes adequately. Would have liked running cold water for teeth brushing though and one shower was better than the other and the loo roll did run out in the one cubicle but we all had hot showers. Just take a loo roll, just in case. (We did go over a bank holiday weekend and didn't once have to wait for either loo or shower).

The one bin that we found was overflowing with rubbish and there was no recycling options.

A great setting, pub nearby, close to the river, able to organise pitching next to friends.

The shower block is basic but works perfectly well- they are clean- that’s all I need. The negative reviews- Your camping not staying in a hotel 🤷‍♀️

Take toilet roll, it gets replaced daily multiple times but I’d say people tend to hoard it so it runs out often!
