The compost toilets were lovely and clean.
The owners were lovely and helped to get stuff from car to waterlogged pitch with the quad and trailer.

The feild had held a lot of water and we couldn't park next to pitch. The feild where we could park wasn't offered as a camping alternative.
The dryer pitches were saved for a larger group that didn't turn up and we were given the choice of two very wet pitches. So we had a lot of mud to get through as we hadn't rang and fussed like others had. Squeaky wheel comes to mind.
No hot water to wash pots.

We have just been for our second time and they have added another toilet and a shower to the site. It's a lovely site Neil and Asia are always about to help if needed, very peaceful and relaxing camp site with a pond and the bees. Will be booking again.

we picked Elizabeth cottage camping as our first "tester" camping trip, this weekend and we couldn't of chose a better place for our first time. the place is lovely and really well looked after, from the moment we arrived we couldn't be welcomed any more by Aisa and her husband, nothing was too much trouble when asked anything even when the kids asked if they could get up and feed the chickens and goats with them it was no trouble, the Toilets even though they are compost toilets they are REALLY clean and checked constantly through out the day, also the jam tarts Aisa makes for the campers are amazing!

Really enjoyed staying 2 nights at the bell tent. It felt like home away from home but with nature, quietness. The owners are really friendly and they made sure we had everything we needed and very accommodating too! I highly recommend staying here, will definitely be back for sure!

We have booked to go camping in a few weeks but my dater (10) has never been before so we thought we would take her somewhere local for one night to see how she gets on! We just booked the first place that came up but wow I’m so glad it was here! It was absolutely lovely! Nice little field but plenty of space! My daughter loved it! She loved seeing the animals and having a little walk through where the owners have made it’s looks so beautiful 😍 very well looked after and the woman who owns it is lovely, always coming down to check on everyone if anyone needs anything very friendly. Never used a compost toilet before but we all loved it! Very very clean! So now my daughter can’t wait to go camping just through one night experience here! So thank you! We will definitely be coming again!

Relaxed feel - the owner very approachable and remembered I was testing out new backpacking equipment. Great compost toilets in little sheds well supplied with shavings. Nice family feel.
