Lots of space. Clean facilities. Able to use a campfire. Friendly owners. My son loved the pond too.

Some soap to use in the toilet would have been useful.

Amazing Little camp site! Views were brilliant. Nice little walk to the pub or bigger walks if needed. Lovely little pond to watch all the nature. Owners were very friendly.

Honestly not a bad thing to say about this campsite. Lovely, calm atmosphere. All facilities were immaculate. Amazing surrounding and views aswell as enough space for each tent. Couldn’t recommend more!

Seriously, everything was just what you want or need when camping, and loads more than you expected!!! There's toilets, showers, drinking water, washing facilities, fire pits, pitch choice and general freedom to enjoy yourself. The site has 2 massive fields and limited reservations. This gives you the freedom to pitch up anywhere within the site, but without the restrictions of designated pitches!

Although, we only got the chance to chat to the owners a couple of times, whilst they were keeping the site in the upmost conditions (daily compost toilet duties & general site upkeep), I have never felt so comfortable, welcomed & endeared, in such a short space of time. They know the area, will answer any questions you have with enthusiasm - not because they need to, but because they want to.
It felt like we were wild camping at times.

This is a self catering campsite with everything you need and nothing you don't! If you want a luxurious cabin with entertainment and Steven Mulhearn, go Butlins. If you want a campsite that offers an unrivalled and genuine camping experience, this place is 20min on a train from Manchester Piccadilly (then a walk or taxi to the site - approx. 30min via walking routes, 50min via walking roads, or 10min via taxi).

This is by far the best camping experience I've ever had and it rained all weekend! You make your own experiences but a place like this nudges you in the right direction. If you don't enjoy yourself here, maybe camping isn't for you!!

Our first time camping with our 6 yr old, From the first moment arriving really nice, spacious camp site where we could pitch up where ever we liked. It had the nicest, cleanest, outdoor toilet sheds iv ever seen which were well equipped with everything and more, it had outside showers, and kitchen to wash up an lend things if you'd forgotten ( like I forgot our cups 🙄) it had fire pits and tables to lend which we did an my boy loved going into the woods to collect dead wood to burn all by himself. It has a lovely pond area, with views of gorgeous horses, goats & geese it's also surrounded by woodland with trails that lead to a nice river where we were skimming pepples. Our Fellow campers were so friendly and helped us out with info and a couple of things we'd forgotten (Thanks Rachel 💚) I met the Owner Aicer she was lovely and gave me some useful tips an advice which will come in handy each time we go back which we will 100% be returning very soon an I shall be recommending to all I know. Thank you very much to you & your hubby for working hard, making such a wonderful & peaceful place for happy campers to relax an enjoy the beautiful nature of your site, we loved every second, see you soon Chrissy & Family ❤️

Another fantastic 3 day camp. The farm is beautiful and the owners are so friendly. Lots to do and the goats are adorable. My 2 dogs love it. You have lots of room in between tents which is amazing as it feels like you have your own private VIP section. The pond area is lovely to sit and watch the carp. Absolutely nothing.

We like the feeling that we are miles away from anywhere but shops and pubs a short drive or 20 -30 min walk away. We always feel really relaxed when we come for a short break. Very well maintained camp.
