The facilities are great and the couple that run the site are very helpful and friendly, they could not do more to help out and really go out of there way to make you feel welcome. It was our first time camping as a family and we loved it so much we have booked further nights this week.

The atmosphere here is perfect. The scenery and the pond added to this wonderful evening. We met the host and her daughter who were so incredibly helpful, and evenidently absolutely love what they do!

Everything. This was our second visit. Very peaceful site, there is a local shop and pub within walking distance. The Grandkids love it here and they loved feeding the goats. The owners are really nice. Cant wait to return.

We had an amazing time at Elizabeth Cottage. We stayed for one night in the two person bell tent. It had everything possible included, tea & coffee, gas hob, fire wood & bbq, pans, cutlery, glasses etc. There was also a cool box in the tent, faux flowers and it smelt amazing! The toilet was super close and very clean, also smelt great. I think they use air freshener diffusers or something but we were very impressed. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. You can tell that a lot of thought has gone into this experience and we felt valued as guests. The two person bell tent was also quite secluded from the other tents which was really nice. We also bought hummus and bread from the organic store menu, both delicious! We definitely plan to stay again next year! :)

Elizabeth cottage camping is an absolute gem of a campsite. The facilities are clean and there is so much there to help make your comfortable. There were so many things about this site that were just lovely. The owner was so hospitable the site itself is beautiful, natural but well kept. My children enjoyed the animals, ponds and facilities. And I felt the site was so safe for children to explore. Every detail has been thought about carefully and executed perfectly. The toilet, kitchen, shower and washing up areas are so cute. We just had the best time that I’m going to come back again during the summer holidays for longer. Perfect for wildlife watching, stargazing and a cosy comfortable stay.

Very clean & well kept site with useful kitchen/dishwashing facilities. Toilets were also well-looked after & easy to spot.

A few cars got stuck near the bottom of the second field due to boggy ground. Also there is intermittent noise from Manchester airport all night.

Great site with lovely hosts. The kids absolutely loved the rope swing and looking at the animals. We hired a fire pit which was great in the evening. Hoping to return next year. Thanks for a great stay!

Very friendly and helpful couple own the campsite.

There is a lot of room on the campsite so you can be away from other campers. Able to park car by pitch.
Fire pit available to hire with all the wood for fire.
Nice quiet area not far from glossop and some lovely walks.
