This is one of the best campsites I’ve ever stayed on!
The goats and horses made it unique, the toilet and shower facilities were excellent, the pond with seating area was great for relaxing around and the owner was absolutely lovely!!!
Not too crowded either so had good amount of privacy

The only thing was that the toilets absolutely stunk in the morning however it had been an extremely hot day so it probably couldn’t be helped

Loved this campsite, great facilities, lovely area and a lovely couple who own the campsite. It’s not over crowded and a nice quiet chilled vibe I will certainly be returning for another stay!

This campsite was great for a bit of peace and quiet. The owners try to make sure there is plenty of space by limiting the amount of pitches which is hard to find these days. We loved the location as well as the 3 pigmy goats who were adorable!

The owners were very friendly and an accommodating. The local shop wasn’t too far away with everything you need. I ironically got 5g in the middle of a field and can’t even get that at home, so signal and internet was perfect. Would definitely come back as it’s one of our favourites now.

Beautiful site, spotless compost toilets & really clean. Gorgeous walk through a wood to the river & lots of meadow grass. Lovely fire pit areas.

A giant pylon to the left of the field is a bit of a shame but would deffo book again.

Ive had yet another wonderful stay with my two dogs. The farm is beautiful and you can walk round to meet the goats and horses. They have a lovely little pond too. Such lovely owners who take the time to come over and say hi. 👋. We’ve booked again for our birthdays in July. Thank you again xxxxx

Ease of finding site, hospitality of owners, cleanliness of facilities. Plenty of space. Outdoor furniture was useful. Composting toilets were well maintained and better than those we've come across before. We followed the footpath that goes across the site into the woods, it was an adventure and brought us out into Charlesworth, and then approx 25 minutes walk back along the road. In Charlesworth there was a great village store called Village Greens selling a wide range of fruit and veg as well as having a fish section. Further down the hill I was "in heaven" when we came across the wool shop!! The scenery around the area was beautiful considering we weren't far from Hyde, Stockport and Manchester.

The only thing to dislike was not being able to stay longer.

Fantastic site, owners very friendly and took time out to speak to us. Plenty of places for the kids to run off and explore. Free fire pits, just need to bring some wood with you.
Lovely and peaceful with goats, geese and horses.
Take some bread and feed the carp in the pond.

Everything about this site was perfect 🥰 compost toilets and lovely hot showers, this site has thought of everything, will definitely return

The site was quiet with a huge amount of space for the numbers of guests. The toilets were immaculate despite being composting. Firepits are free and there's also a large communal firepit area with seating. There was a pond with ducks and goats and geese which young children would love. We walked 1 mile to a lovely pub. The campsite owner was very friendly and welcoming. We will most definitely be going back soon.

We only stayed for one night but would definitely return. Beautiful clean camping grounds. The toilets were always well stocked and we really enjoyed the facilities such as the fire pits and washing up station. The animals and pond areas were a lovely added bonus too.
