We booked the August bank holiday and were told that it would be busy , but it wasn’t too bad . They did provide several extra porta loos due to it being busier .
£15 a night fior a peek weekend was good valueНе понравилось: There was a few groups who were having a laugh and drinking, but respectfully quietened down by 11:00 pm The pitch next too us was occupied by 4 noisy twerps who were playing music and being loud until 1 in the morning and left a lot of mess to be blown around the campsite.
The bottom of the field near the lakes was a bit chopped up and 3 vans got stuck in the same spot and needed the tractor to drag them out ,maybe they could have marked the areas to avoid further mishaps 🤷♂️
Thank you for your review & liked comments, also for mentioning that £15 for 2 people per night was good value for a bank holiday weekend as we have had a few comments that we are overpriced - apologies about the disrespectful group near to you, obviously our notices regarding the quiet time on our campsite hadn't taken heed, I am always only a phone call away if there are issues to be dealt with - after the heavy rain on the Saturday it just softened that area & as you stated it was just that one spot where they all went in, point taken about marking it out, I think the tractor driver just thought after the 1st one that they would see not to go there

There are two camping fields but only one of the fields has running water, bins and washing facilities so if you are in the second field at the back like we were it is a big walk. The shower is very low pressure and did not have hot running water. The pitches are not level as the two fields are on hills
Great place to stop over in the peaks lots to see and do nearby!

The three fishing lakes are lovely to walk round and say hello to the cows, horse (which you are able to buy carrots for at the farm shop!) and the baby donkey only a few days old.
It is in walking distance of a lovely dog and family friendly pub, just 10 mins either way there are two other great pubs. Only five minutes drive away is a large play ground and reservoir.
They have optional fire pit hire which has been great and the farm shop has lots of goodies and essential if needed.Не понравилось: It can be very windy as in an open ish area.
