Не понравилось: no fault to the campsite. but several groups of what I can only describe has feral campers have put us off staying again at a wknd. campers in front totally p****d at 5pm that **** faced they couldn't stand up. allowing there 2 huge dogs to run around off lead and poo everywhere.barking at people snd other dogs. and 2 other campers playing rave music shouting swearing till gone 1am. says no groups allowed but the tent was huge and this group were all staying in the same tent. strong smell of
cannabis came from this tent. family beside us packed up n left a night early due to the noise and behaviour infront of the young kids. not on really . put I'd recommend but maybe only midweek when very quiet.
Many apologies about the family in question, I was notified the next day & did go to speak with them when they came back from their day out - the dogs were loose when I went to see them & I reminded them of the rules that all dogs to be kept on leads or tied up, the lady never came out of the tent, just kept shouting comments, also reminded them of no loud music, I also said they would have to leave if they would not follow the rules, I believe the 2nd night was correct - with regards to groups, unfortunately people book separately & then group when they arrive, - I always have my phone with me & do not mind coming down late to remind people of the rules

Really liked the farm shop that sold meat, eggs, milk and all extras.. super handy for bits and bobs we’ve forgotten and makes it easier to bring less stuff with us!
Не понравилось: No fault of the owner but a lot of silly campers not following the rules such as dogs on leads.. one pitch having quite large & intimidating dogs running up to our dogs barking and baring their teeth, not on leads whilst the owners were passed out in their tents non the wiser to their dogs behaviour and also defecating all over the site. Again, I understand this isn’t the owners fault but maybe closer policing of this as it caused us and a few other campers upset as our dogs were getting quite stressed with this and also not nice for the owners to find dog poo everywhere!!!
Quite a few other disrespectful campers with music blaring at 1/2am in the morning.. again, I know it’s hard to police this but feel like signs or something to be put up around the site to remind/scare people if they blare music out at stupid o’clock they could be escorted off. I’ve seen a lot of campsites do this and in most cases people tend to stick to it as they don’t want to lose their spot.
A couple of other toilets would be great too as there was always quite big queues for the toilets.
Thank you for your positive review and supporting the farm shop - I did go down to have a word with this family with the dogs after I heard about them the next morning & reminded them of the rules & that they would be required to leave if they couldn't, the dogs were off the lead when I went to them & they also came running at me, so I quite agree they were intimidating dogs - with regards to the loud music I am more than happy if phoned as I keep my phone with me all night to come down to sort it out, we state on pitch-up that quiet time is 11pm, I have since put up quite a few notices around (farm shop & toilets) reminding them of the time & to respect other campers.
