Great facilities, lovely owners, site was very clean and tidy.

Friendly greeting as soon as we arrived, shown how everything worked including the hot tub which was ready and up-to temperature for us. Peaceful farm site with animals in the field to look at. Bed was comfy and the facilities were great. Short walk to nearby pubs and eateries. Felt really relaxing and calm and a lovely experience.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. We stayed in meadow view the shepherd's hut which was a perfect little place, it had a lovely private outside area with a hot tub. There were horses and cow's in the field right next to us with amazing views. The gentleman who greeted us was very friendly and showed us how to use the hot tub, highly recommend!! We had an amazing night, Thank you Jonathan.

Absolutely nothing.

Really simple and small but clean, calm, friendly and not too busy. Easy to find and we used it as a base to explore local highlights including the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, the Hepworth in Wakefield, the Yorkshire Mores and the Peak District National Park. Loads of really good pubs near by. Well stocked Co-op just a short walk down the road. Pitches relatively flat. Dog was happy!

The shower block is across a road - not too busy but busy enough to require care.

Great open space, everything you need for a great place to base yourself when travelling in the area. Toilets are good, owners are helpful, great value for money

We stayed in the 2 person Shepard hut which was wonderful. Staying in a few glamping places before, this was by far the best as it has its own toilet and a lovely patio area with a bbq and a fire log hot tub. The animals are right next to the hut which was adorable. The staff are extremely lovely and very approachable. The shared facilities of the showers were in good condition and the cafe did home cooked pizza which were amazing. The hut was lovely and had a homely feel to it. Definitely the best glamping place we have been and will be returning

The only thing I would mention (and this is me being picky) is that there is no mini fridge which made keeping drinks/food etc cold however we knew this before attending so it’s not really a negative

We had a lovely stay in the sheperds hut. We enjoyed the hot tub very much and we ate very good pizza in the little shop/café.
The sanitary was good and it was nice that we had our own private camping toilet. The owner was very friendly.

The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable to sleep in but it was ok for 1 night.

Nice field, good pitches. Toilets close to pitches in the field, useful for evening/night. Also toilets, showers and wash up facilities across the road at the reception area. All very simple and basic, but didn't need more than that. Onsite staff friendly and welcoming.
Trees to one side of field and another field to other side, can relax and watch the farm animals potter around. Shop within 2 mins walk is very handy.

The wind occasionally brought the authentic scent of the countryside with it (manure) but that can't be helped on a farm! :-)
