Lovely campsite, great fire pit, good facilities.

Very kind and welcoming host. We stayed in the Meadow View hut, hot tub and keys prepared on arrival. Pleasantly surprised by the essentials provided (especially coffee), and amenities (shower, washing up, film selection to borrow) all well sign posted. Bonus points for being able to spend time with the friendly and adorable animals in the barn and field. Cute farm shop, everything for s’mores included, and homemade jam. Great prices, particularly for our spontaneous plan!

If camping rather than a hut, the male toilets were very smelly (expected, we’re at one with nature when camping, nature could smell worse).

Second stay at this campsite. Friendly owner and good size pitches with space to park beside. Quiet site with plenty of space for the kids to run around plus couple of pubs and a shop down the road.

Small scale of campsite, good facilities, great shower! Quiet and respectful campers. Petting farm added attraction for children.

No sign of owners, booked and paid for on-line but personal contact with customers should still be important.
Crossing road to use showers somewhat dangerous as limited view of oncoming traffic from right.

Toilet areas could benefit from a dust/clean of cobwebs etc

Plenty of amenities. 1 toilet block with sinks and toilets and 1 toilet block with nice showers.
Field was good to pitch in, quite a few flat areas for the tent.
Nice that kids could go and see the animals.
Owner very helpful and willing to deal with any issues night and day.
Very family friendly, with good rules of no swearing and keep the noise low after 10.30pm. Among other site rules.
Nice areas for rent if you don't want to pitch up.
I have recommended the site already.

Had to cross a road to get to the farm/main toilet block. Some cars driving very fast

Loved this site! Very clean and beautiful countryside around you.
The kids loved riding their bikes down the hill. Will definitely visit again 😊

Privacy, facilities

Bunk bed is a little squeaky and can’t hear when kids and moving around

Absolutely great little campsite! We have pitched a tent here twice before and just returned from our third stay, this time in the hideaway tent. It was great to have our own little corner of the campsite and the tent was very spacious for 2 adults, a teen, a 5 year old and a dog!
Even when we’ve pitched our own tent, the pitches have been spacious and the site is very peaceful and quiet during the week.
Helpful friendly owners and staff. Sadly we haven’t had chance to try the coffee shop or ice cream as we’ve mostly stayed mid week and it’s only open weekends, but we’re looking forward to this on our next visit!
The kids loved being able to pet the animals on the farm and splash in the stream.

We Loved here. The toilets and facilities were nice and clean. Peaceful site surrounded by nature and some cute farm animals. Johnathan is helpful. I will come again!

Shop and cafe were closed. I can’t try her cake and coffee.
