We stayed in a camping pod for two nights with my two children (5years and under)
We had an absolutely brilliant time!
The location of the pods was great, the toilets/showers were right next door and they were really clean, no issues whatsoever.
The staff were great and really friendly with entertainment and games on both evenings. The pool was good too, again nice and clean.
The only fault I had was there was no food or shop on site, however there is a premier shop around the corner, an Aldi 5 minutes down the road and plenty of local restaurants and takeaway options.

Don't let the previous bad reviews put you off booking, it's a fantastic place!

No running water in the camping pods - However washing up sinks were across the road located at the toilets.

No options for food.

Love the pet friendly pods, very clean campsite.

Sports bar tv had no sound, due to having children couldn’t go in the adult bar that had tv with sound.

Swimming pool was OK and bar staff friendly.

Pitches run down with weeds and dog poo bags lying around. Over flowing bins and rubbish on view from the seating area outside the club house making it look an eye sore.Toilet block was OK had Toilet rolls but only one soap dispenser working and one hand dryer working, didn't use the shower as we showered after swimming. Club house was dirty with sticky floors/tables. Entertainment on the Saturday was good but Friday and Sunday was mediocre. Kids club was virtually not existent was supposed to be on at 6pm but this didn't seem to happen they just done a kids disco at 6.30 which consisted of giving them hulahoops and leaving them to it or musical statues that went on for ever with no prize for the winning child(even a lollipop would of done).
I waited on Sunday for 40 minutes with my 4 year old granddaughter for the bug hunt that she had been looking forward to all weekend only for no one to turn up, was told he was running a few minutes late but after 40 minutes and a fed up 4yr old we left. Place is run down and disorganised. Soft play area was closed and food van that is advertised on the fb page as being there all summer wasn't there and on site shop was closed. Kids play park was run down full of weeds and broken equipment. Really disappointed and not worth the money we paid. Will not be returning unless a massive improvement is made.

Quite peaceful and quiet

Pitches are a bit tight for motorhomes and need a little TLC bushes and General ground maintenance in a poor state.
Evening entertainment is a
Bit hit and miss and unreliable in club house.
We attended a day time activity ( bug hunt) but the dedicated staff failed to turn up so activity cancelled kids was upset.
So we arranged are own activities.

Badly sign posted for tourers to check in, badly designed location of pitches.

Lady on reception was lovely although didn’t really tell me much about the site, my youngest loved the pool although I’m not sure how clean it was.

Lovely setting with brilliant views from reception and clubhouse.

My youngest enjoyed the park and playing football.

Showers and toilets were very clean and warm.

Pitches were very tight and hard to manoeuvre into, so many caravans struggled.
Site was I little scruffy and reports of dog muck confirmed within 5 minutes of setting up when both myself and my old boy walked through it.
Site was very noisy and it didn’t feel like the staff controlled it in any way, lots of foul language, drinking and loud music by a group pitched right next to the park. Not really what I wanted my nine year old exposing to.

Pool didn’t feel very clean, water was very mirky. Nobody showered before they swam, I got the feeling most used it as a wash, showering after the pool.

Pitches are only small with not much room for kids to play, we opted for XL & was still quite cramped
Place is a little dated but was ok for one night tbh

Great spot for the night we stayed. Swimming pool , entertainment and bar. Would have been handy to have a restaurant on site too but wasn't far to go to get food.

Nothing.

There was no one there to check us in. Had to return the day after to be told they had no record of our booking.
Would not recommend.
