The open play areas for children were ok.
Children and dogs welcomed in the bar area.

Pitches not marked out clearly so difficult to tell where one started and ended.

The site was ok. Small and would benefit from a shop or kids club/ more activities.

However we made the most of it and it looks like they are working on extendint the park and bettering it. Probably wouldn't stay here again. Felt it was over priced.

The touring pitches were far too close together we could not put up our awning as next caravan and car were too close.
Pitches were not level and really could be better. We didn't use the toileting facilities we used our own

Staff looked miserable on reception.

Was a lovely little break very friendly campsite would defo recommend and be returning soon

Beware of the machine in the arcade, doesn't always work when you use your card to get change but takes it out of your bank..refunded pretty quickly but one customer said he had been waiting 3 days for his money back.
Take plenty of loose change if you want to use the arcade.

Please be aware they don't except cash at the bar

This touring site is worse site we have ever stayed on
The pitches had no maintenance carried out at whatsoever -full of foot high grass and weeds, dog mess on the pitch and paths. The approach road to the pitches were full of deep potholes. Forget putting up an awning as the pitches are so crammed together The rubbish bins were overflowing and soiled nappies thrown in the road. Kids were running in and out of the shower blocks ( while your taking a shower) we inquired about the Wi-Fi and told there is no Wi-Fi on site although the description of the “ Holiday Park “ clearly stated that there is free Wi-Fi
The whole site is like an overgrown carpark. I Spoke to other campers who wholly agreed that Beacon Fell was the worst site that they had been too
I spoke to Paul the site manager about our concerns which I felt fell on deaf ears. Although we had booked for a two night stay ,we left the next morning
PITCH UP you should be ASHAMED to advertise this site as you clearly have not had any inspection carried out on behalf of YOUR clients

Absolutely disgusting site toilets are horrible stink left the site after 1 hour booked 2 pitches tried to get refund as the pictures on pitch up site look nothing like what it is when u get there honestly the worse site we have ever been please don’t anybody book this place it’s shocking wasted £186 on 2 pitches which we left after 1 hour

Swimming pool, site was quiet, great views. We liked the bar area and on the first evening they had toys out for kids. There were baby walkers, hula hoops, basketball etc. The site is in a good location. There are lots of shops and pubs nearby.

We stayed in a camping pod with a bathroom. It wasn't very clean. The first night we appeared to be the only ones in a pod so it wouldn't have taken much to give it a hoover. There was dirt in the shower and toothpaste marks in the sink.
I couldn't find a list of what was in the pod before we went. There was a toaster, kettle and plates, glasses, mugs and cutelry which was good. It could do with a mirror in the bathroom and some coat hooks. The beds were not very comfortable and the headboard banged on the wall every time you moved. There is no toilet roll and no towels (think it does say this on the Web site but we forgot toilet roll!). The pods are right opposite the toilet block. Not sure what the toilet block was like as we didn't go in.
The soft play is currently closed due to it being damaged. Would have been helpful to know this before we went. We booked this thinking that the soft play would be good for our daughter.
We enjoyed using the pool and were the only ones in when we went. They do 1 hour sessions throughout the day which are first come first serve and maximum of 40. The pool area was not clean. Changing facilities are poor and the showers are just a few open ones at the side of the pool which are cold.
There is limited space outside the pods which isn't ideal for sitting out or having a bbq.
There's an outdoor play area but a lot of the things are damaged on this.
The site advertises an on site shop. There is no shop and no restaurant.
Overall the site is just tired and needs a bit of a refurb.
