Pods to sleep 4 no way it is possible. The pull out bed was awful my back was in absolute agony, hard metal bar down the middle was so uncomfortable. I sat up sleeping alnight it was that bad..

Swimming pool

The area designated for touring vans was cramped, tight and scruffy. The ground was uneven and rough although reasonably flat. There were weeds everywhere and no sign of any kind of grounds maintenance.
The toilet facilities were adequate though some more hooks for hanging clothes, towels etc would have been helpful. However the biggest bugbear was that in both the ladies AND gents there was only 1 functioning soap dispenser, which soon became empty in the ladies and when my wife reported this to reception on Sunday morning she was told “I’ll get to that right away”. Corrective action was not taken until the morning clean THE FOLLOWING DAY! There was often NO toilet paper in any of the cubicles (ladies or gents) for long periods indicating that the toilets were not monitored throughout the day as was suggested by notices pinned up in the facilities block.

Friendly staff

Pods 1 and 2 right in front of toilet block and on a slope onto a road. The pods are advertised as sleeping 4 but the sofa bed was a single bed and no way two would fit on so had to sleep on floor.

Check in is 4pm and check out is 9am .. so if you go for one night you won’t be able to use pool as last session is 3.30

Pod was clean,tidy and had everything you needed. Kids loved the pool and there was some fantastic views. Staff where friendly

I'd say relatively quiet in the evenings, pool was a nice touch even if small and only allowed once a day

Well firstly I paid for an XL pitch.. This wouldn't even pass for a medium sized pitch. Everyone crammed in like sardines. Upon arriving at my designated pitch it was full of dog poo and rubbish so clearly no one checks when people check out. No toilet roll or hand-wash in the toilets. Kids from the local estate running riot around the camp site.
Park was in a good need of maintenance & cleaning, Swings broke, rubbish everywhere and I don’t even know if it was human or animal but poo on the actual slide.
Advertised with shop/cafe/restaurant/play area none of this is actually there, camper to the side of me left after 1 night as nothing there for their smaller child. 4 nights was definitely too much.. I'd say one night if passing through would be manageable. Showers/toilets was not cleaned in the 4 days i was there. Same dirty plasters & socks in the shower on Friday was still there Tuesday morning. This is not necessarily against the site itself but my solar lights that i left outside during the day was stolen whilst we were at the pool

Toilets were clean but no toilet roll.
Showers clean and hot.
Swimming pool clean and warm.

Pitches were overgrown, not maintained at all.
Pitches were ridiculously close.
Entertainment on the Friday was terrible.
No cash in at the bar, card only.
No shop.

Taylor Swift tribute act was fantastic. Showers were clean. Drinkingwater available and could easily clean dishes and empty waste. Swimming pool was okay but only open certain hours and a first come first served basis. Only allows 40 people in at a time

Area where rubbish bins were was overflowing with rubbish. All piled up on the floor, buns overflowing. Some taps in toilet didn't work, run out of soap in dispensers, run out of loo roll. Other campers very noisy until 4 am sat outside drinking with music on. Children's play area not very good. Apparatus broken and in poor state, very small not big enough for campsite. Observed one camper drinking all day then driving his car. Needs a lot of TLC around the place. No cafe or shop nowhere to get a takeaway or any food. During the week a swimming school takes a third of the ool which is only small and cordons it off for lessons. Supposed to get an hour swimming but only got 40 minutes and called out. Kids club chaotic no structure and nothing for children around 9-14
