Which activity, lady or gentleman, would you care to try first? An hour or two of fishing? Muscles soothed with a massage? Or – as you might need another rest after the massage – just lazing around among spectacular scenes of the Pyrenees...?
Get your diary cleared and your boss flattered, as family-friendly Camping d'Audinac has all this and much more – you're going to need at least a couple of weeks. Set at the foot of the Pyrenees in the Ariège region, in an ancient thermal park of eight hectares, this peaceful place has heaps to do in and around its scenic grounds.
As well as the fishing pond and massages, you and the kids can plunge into the pool/paddling pool, play pétanque and volleyball, or tackle football, handball and basketball at the sports pitch; also on offer are tennis, indoor and outdoor ping pong and table football, and a playground with bouncy castle and trampoline. Eats and drinks are sorted for ladies and gentlemen of all sizes at La Marmotte; the July and August snack bar and restaurant, and a grocery shop sells essentials like bread (and ice cream).
And that's only what's on site... Camping d'Audinac is in splendid setting for Pyrenees walking and hiking: you can book a guide via the team for guided trips into the mountains to ensure that you clamber along to the most spectacular spots. Paragliding's a cinch to sort from here too, and if you seek a city day Toulouse is reachable in an hour and 20 minutes.
The local towns are Saint-Girons and Saint-Lizier, each within 10 minutes' drive.

As mentioned, there's heaps to do around here: the surrounding area has trails for walking, hiking, cycling, and you can also do a spot of fishing, paragliding and canyoning, or sort an underground excursion at nearby caves such as Mas d’Azil, 25 minutes away.
Saint-Lizier (four and half kilometres away), in pretty setting on a hill above the Salat, has heaps of historical sights to see as it's been occupied by humankind since Roman times. On the ancient side, saunter along to the old fortifications at Saint-Lizier's upper part; more modernly, the famed 17th-century Bishops' Palace is a fine sight overseeing the town.
Camping d'Audinac is in the Pyrénées Ariégeoises Regional Natural Park, home to weeks' more hikes and outdoor adventures, as well as famed waterfalls like the Cascade d'Ars (50 minutes), acclaimed as one of the handsomest in France.
