Не понравилось Problems with the chemical waste (it backed up three times during our visit which was inconvenient and did result in some unpleasant whiffs, though to be fair, staff responded quickly).
Distance to town, shop, etc - 1 1/4 mile walk to Lynton was very deceptive, as it's actually quite a challenging walk.

We're really sorry about the issues with the chemical waste during your stay and totally understand how unpleasant that must’ve been – thank you for your patience, and we’re glad our team responded quickly.
However we are glad this has been mentioned so future guests are aware - there are some things that can not be flushed such as wet wipes which seemed to be the thing that kept blocking up the facility. 🛠️

And yes – that walk to Lynton can be deceptively steep! Thankfully, there’s always the option to drive or hop on the bus nearby 🚐

Понравилось Everything! The facilities were excellent, lots of thought has clearly gone into every aspect. They need to show these off more in their marketing, tried to explain how good it was to friends but limited info on the website. Staff very friendly. Will definitely be coming back!

Понравилось Great facilities, well maintained & cleaned along with a lovely location overlooking the sea across Lynton & Lynmouth.
Excellent value compared to similar sites.
Nice little shop & food vendor offering hot food & cocktails at the weekends.

Trying to book through their internet seems impossible and they are very slow to reply to a phone call.

We appreciate your honest feedback too. The optional early arrival fee helps us manage changeover days smoothly, especially when pitches need time to be cleaned and prepared ⏰. We always want guests to have the best possible experience from the moment they arrive. (We also make you aware of this charge ahead of time with out emails)

Like you, we’re also sad the pub next door is now closed 🍻 – fingers crossed something new and exciting opens there in the future.

Apologies for the difficulty reaching us – we’re a small team 💬 and the phone is in the shop/reception area, so during busy times we’re often helping guests on site and can’t always answer straight away. We completely understand it can be frustrating and really appreciate your patience.

Понравилось Beau camping, calme, très bien entretenu. Beaux emplacements sur herbe plans. Installations modernes et très propres.
Excellente communication avec tous les détails d'installation.

Понравилось - Great view from our pitch (Bay View).
- Very friendly staff, especially on check in. The gentleman walked me through everything I needed to know and where to find out pitch.
- The facilities were very well maintained.
- Plenty of spaces to do the washing up, plus the option of a dishwasher that only takes 5 minutes (no dishwasher tablets needed).
- Laundry room which takes coins only and has washing machine and dryer.
- A dog washing area.
- An enclosed dog field which is very big.
- The option to order fresh, hot pastries for the next morning and coffee.
- Every Monday they have a pizza fan which has a lovely menu and their pizzas are brilliant. You can buy soft drinks and dips too.
- On Friday through till Sunday they have a good van that does cocktails, milkshakes, burgers, hotdogs, and chips.
- Only a short drive from the beautiful Lynton.
- Best dog friendly campsite I've been to

Не понравилось - The shower room is very well maintained and clean but the showers don't stay on for very long and you have to press the button a lot.
- We were staying in a tent pitch and despite being quite some distance from the glamping pods, a big group arrived on the Friday and we're very loud even past the noise curfew of 10pm. Due to the reception being closed there was no one to mention this to and we were out early in the mornings and late back on the evenings. So the no loud noise after 10pm is hard to regulate.

We do appreciate your feedback on the showers – we know the timed buttons can be a bit of a juggle and although this has been tweaked we may need to revisit the timings on some showers it seems🚿⏳. We're also really sorry to hear about the noise disturbance during your stay. While our reception is closed after hours, on check in it is made quite clear that we have an out of hours contact number where you can speak to a staff member should you run into any emergencies or issues such as noise disturbance past curfew.

Понравилось The facilities were excellent but the most lovely thing about the trip were the reception staff , they were so helpful and welcoming!
The site is beautifully maintained and the views are stunning and the location is superb.
The dog area is also lovely ☺️
