Camel Creek Adventure Park

Понравилось How beautiful the lights were at night time around the site.

Не понравилось How unclean the facilities were, other families left dishes piled high, bins over flowing, fridges are on an honesty basis, unfortunately we did not get much fridge space due to other people using it. Toilet hut was not water tight was raining as much in the hut as it was outside. We were put in a different tent which we felt was a down grade as It looked smaller and was dirty and not what we paid for. 1 extension lead provided for our tent was very dark, furniture inside was very pretty but hard to open. We woke up each morning our clothes smelling damp. Mattress did not fit the bed so had really bad sleep for 3 nights. Says about pizza delivered to your tent, number did not work. We booked a bell tent but got moved to a yurt, we definitely feel let down because the bell tents looked beautiful the yurt was not, we came up for our son's birthday but sadly had an awful weekend. Alot of money for what it is!

Понравилось Great site for those with young families.
Access to the park throughout our stay.
Play Barn open for campers only from 5-8pm
Bathrooms/toilets were clean, well stocked.
All staff that we met were friendly and helpful.

Не понравилось The ground was very hard and stones,
but we have had a period of dry weather so this could account for the dry ground.

Понравилось Spacious, and quiet. Our car needed to be jump started and Jake the site worker helped us .

Понравилось New good quality pitches and washroom/toilet facilities. Excellent camping for the adventure park and tickets to the park are included in the camping fee. Although the site is ideal for visiting the adventure park, there is not much else to do in the very near vicinity. We cycled along country lanes to the Camel Trail and explored the towns of Padstow and Wadebridge

Не понравилось Some of the motorhome parking areas at the bottom of the site were on quite a slope.

Понравилось The kid's loved the Adventure Park. the Safari Cabin was amazing, super clean and comfortable,

Не понравилось That it didnt have an outside play area, didn't know the soft play was open till 8 that would have been nice to know, especially when the guy behind the counter told us he closes at 4:30, anyways our kids entertained themselves. The supporting beams on the outside need to be a brighter colour, I have vertigo and walked into them a few times as they blended into the surroundings.

Не понравилось Booked a grass pitch, but it was basically hard standing rubble and covered in dog mess. Pegs wouldn't go in the ground, the site is also on a slope. Very dusty and was like being on a builders yard. Showers need a bench so you aren't standing in puddles of water to get dressed. Glamping side has street lamps but not on the camping side which made it feel very segregated. As a whole it was ok but for the extra money not worth it, did not really have much of a vibe and a number of families left early. Also WiFi is pretty much non existent, and no launderette area

Понравилось Such a brilliant setup, really beautifully done and very high spec. Beds were comfortable and a good night's sleep was had by all. Lovely being right next to the park, so convenient to just pop in and enjoy the rides. Great location too being near Padstow and Wadebridge. Hoping to make this an annual trip!

Не понравилось The veranda is a wonderful feature but not very safe for toddlers/crawlers. Otherwise everything else exceeded expectations.

Понравилось The facilities were amazing! Nearly everything had been thought of.
The views, the lights, the comfortable beds!
The inclusion of the park tickets was a complete game changer!

Не понравилось The fact that the campers from the pitch up side of the site came to use our facilities

The unlimited use of the park whilst it was open included into the camping price
Toilets and showers clean

Не понравилось Nothing to do for the kids between 5pm and 10:30am (soft play is open 5-8pm but perfect is your child is 9 or under). Our boy and his friend are 11. Need a play park or something whilst the parks closed.
The ground is so solid and made up of type 1, you physically cannot get any pegs into the ground, we bent so many and it’s really windy on the campsite which is not great if you can’t get your pegs in.
