Seaview Holiday Park

Понравилось The little pods and their position in the park were excellent. Lots of choices to get take away delivered. Showers, toilets and washing up facilities were good. Kids pool and play park was good.

Не понравилось The staff appeared to lack understanding of neurodivergent children and were somewhat pushy and dismissive. We have a day van that serves as a safe space for my child, and I needed to briefly connect it to the electricity to allow her to self-regulate. I explained this to the reception staff, but I was advised that I could not use the electricity. Local children are permitted to access the swimming pool and other facilities free of charge. Most of these teenagers behaved appropriately; however, a small group was extremely unpleasant, and when we brought this to the attention of management, they were unempathetic and dismissed our concerns. The food available at the pub is quite basic.

Понравилось The pod was clean, beds made, welcoming young man at reception, good family feel resort. So close to the sea and great location. Pool hours good and great temperature.

Не понравилось Felt trying to not be biased by reviews read previous to visit, that cleanliness was lacking! Sadly on arrival the club house had no soap in toilets or pod communual washing facilities. In my opinion, an essential and inexpensive facility necessary where lots of people are visiting.

Понравилось The site is lovely and the pool is a welcome addition for the summer. Staff were friendly and helpful and the pods are perfect for a weekend getaway. The location of being right by the beach is lovely.

Не понравилось The disabled toilet was broken which was also in the same cubicle as the disabled shower. We did report this but they told us it would not be fixed immediately and they couldn't tell us when if would be fixed or call us to update us once it had been. All they could say was to use the toilet in the restaurant which wasn't open over night. The toilet got very full of toilet roll and waste and even if my disabled wife was able to tolerate showering in there it didn't feel hygienic enough to take my young child in with us who is too young to wait outside by himself. The handsoap was also empty the whole of our stay in the disabled toilet even though we reported this in day one. This was the same when we stayed at another Park resorts site which implies the disabled facilities are not given the same consideration as the other facilities. The lack of disabled facilities and the unwillingness to fix the toilet meant we had to leave our holiday early which we were very disappointed by.

Понравилось The beds in the cabin were comfortable and very close to the sea.
You were allowed to park next to your pod.
The pool was slightly warmed which was a nice surprise.
It had ok WiFi.
Only 1 lady in the restaurant was really nice. Everyone else was not approachable.

Не понравилось - The cleanness of the communal areas was below standard. The showers were not cleaned properly for the 5 days we were there and contained bugs crawling from the vents. The Laundry machines were not cleaned at all during our stay and had lots of hair in many places

- The restaurant took over 45 mins for puddings, when the restaurant only had one other order (it had 10 other people in the whole building mostly drinkers). This happened twice on two separate nights.

- The first two days most of the arcade machines didn’t work. They luckily fixed this during our stay and we spent many a night there.

- The shop had no useful products other than milk and bread. No meat like chicken, bacon, ham, cheese etc, but they sold korma sauce.

- Reported the cleaning problems mid week and nothing happened. Complained when we left and the manager seemed disinterested and passed it to another person to deal with. I responded to the other person 8 days ago with all my concerns and have heard nothing back, so I have escalated to Pitch Up.

- Other lodges told me that they either went to the local gym to shower their kids, or used baby wipes in their lodges. They told us this before we mentioned our own concerns.

- Manager reported that toilets/showered had been jet washed two weeks prior. With the build up on the bathroom floor and that only half of the 20 odd lodges were even occupied I find this hard to believe that the jet washing was done to a satisfactory level, or the “twice a day” cleaning has been done since. The floor has a noticeable colour on it and you can feel the dirt.

- Provided recycling, general and food waste bins in the cabin, but when you came to put it in the big bins, it was all mixed with no separates.

All in all very disappointed and will not be recommending or returning.

I wouldn’t be so annoyed but we raised our concerns during our stay for them to be ignored.

Понравилось We recently stayed at Seaview Holiday Park in Whitstable and had a really lovely time. The park was clean, well-maintained, and had a friendly atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything feel relaxed and easy.

The location is fantastic, especially if you want a peaceful seaside break with plenty to do nearby. We loved being so close to the beach and enjoying walks around Whitstable. The facilities on site were good, and the accommodation was comfortable and tidy with everything we needed for a family holiday.

What stood out most was how calm and family-friendly the park felt. It’s a great place to unwind, whether you’re going with children, friends, or just looking for a quiet getaway. We’d definitely consider coming back again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant holiday park on the Kent coast.

Понравилось Great pitch and location. Excellent service from call to advise cabin available and call to check everything was ok. We had a great break at a great price

Понравилось Great Camping Pods right next to the sea wall and the beach. Great Cycle path to Whitstable and Herne Bay. Friendly site, nice playground and bar. Clean and tidy facilities.

Не понравилось The reviews on the site didn’t give it justice.
