Понравилось Quite remote country location. Dark skies, great for stargazing. Nice quiet site, good facilities, elec and water on pitch. Very unspoiled and rural. Enjoyed staying here.

Не понравилось Country lanes require care when approaching, especially in large motorhome.

Понравилось We enjoyed meeting the animals. It was also peaceful which is what we wanted.

Не понравилось The facilities were limited for the amount of pitches. I would have thought there should be more. Unfortunately other guests kept leaving it messy which was not the owners fault.

We’re sorry that the behaviour of other guests affected your experience of the facilities. We work hard to keep the site and facilities clean and tidy, so it’s disappointing when they are not left as they were found.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding the number of facilities. As a small site, we currently have one toilet and shower facility, although we have already laid the concrete base for an additional toilet and hope to have this installed very soon. We’re always looking at ways to improve the site while retaining the small, peaceful feel that our guests enjoy.

We appreciate your feedback about the narrow lanes. Being tucked away in the countryside does mean the approach includes some narrow Shropshire lanes, and we always advise guests to follow our directions carefully and take their time.

As for the biting flies, unfortunately that’s one of the less glamorous parts of staying in the countryside, particularly during the warmer months! We’re sorry they were a nuisance during your stay.

Понравилось Only 7 pitches and we had the site to ourselves, tho it was a Sunday night, so lovely and peaceful. Basic site but had everything you needed, toilet block was clean and shower was lovely and hot. Would stay there again.

Не понравилось A little updating in the showerblock would be good as there was a slightly rusty chair and bin. The shower cubicle itself was looking a little jaded but it was clean

Понравилось Owners really friendly. Lovely little site with donkeys and chickens to say hello too. Gorgeous views over mountains and nice to have your own tap.

Не понравилось A little strict on the guest policy. We would have loved to meet up with some friends for a drink or two one evening but you’re not allowed guests past 6pm. And no more than 2 guests in daytime
A little play area would make this place a bit more family friendly

Не понравилось Having to walk past the caged guard dogs, my wife is scared of dogs so she was somewhat limited. We understand its a working farm, but it might be an idea to have access to the pond and walks behind the barns?
