Valley View Glamping

Понравилось Great views, really easy to access major routes to tourist sites and attractions and incredibly peaceful site. The owners go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable, providing as much free firewood and kindling as you need. There is a honesty shop well stocked with a range of food, drinks and craft activities, plus a library of games and books to borrow to keep children entertained.

The kitchen inside is well equipped, with instruction manuals provided for all appliances and gadgets. The owners even provide a great step by step guide for lighting the fire and keeping this going - great if, like us, you’ve never used a log burner before!

My husband uses a wheelchair but can walk short distances and found the dome to be well suited for his needs. The armchairs were comfortable and the wet room style bathroom allows room for a portable shower stool. There is a step into the bathroom and a small lip for the main doorway, but he was able to easily manage these and we kept his chair secure in the car.

All three domes are positioned to allow for an uninterrupted view of the valley, with some of the farms cows being located in the field immediately in front of the domes. We enjoyed watching these at different times of the day and spotting the birds of prey flying across the valley.

Понравилось Stayed for 2 nights as a family of four in the Sitches pod in august great weekend had by all cant wait to return. Stunning scenary, pods we're clean cosy & well equipped. Perfect location for anybody with children knowing they we're safe & happy.

Понравилось Easy check in and check out. The place was spotless. So cost and had everything we needed such as kitchen, bathroom en suite, blankets, torch, fire etc. Was just so quiet and peaceful and I loved the honesty shop

Понравилось The site feels very secluded and peaceful and is in a beautiful setting overlooking the valley. The dome was well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay and was spotlessly clean. There were lots of lovely thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home from home. My son loved choosing games and books to borrow and it was really useful having the honesty shop on site for snacks. It was an easy drive to nearby attractions and towns - we particularly enjoyed the steam railway at Darley Dale and there is a lovely shady playground there too.

Не понравилось No dislikes as such but good just to bear in mind that the domes get very hot during the day, and quite cold overnight! Our stay was in the middle of a heatwave and we couldn't really be in the dome during the day as it got so hot and there is not much shade on site. But most mornings we did need blankets and warm socks before the dome warmed up. There also isn't loads of space on the site for running and playing - this wasn't an issue for us with a toddler but might be more restrictive for slightly older children.

Понравилось Absolutely loved everything from the honesty shop with games, to the placement of the dome! A fantastic first experience of glamping and we will definately be back!

Понравилось We stayed in the stitches dome with our 5 and 4 years old and had the most wonderful time. The Dome was perfect, it had everything we needed, and more. We didn't want to leave. The added details like blankets for sitting out to enjoy the stars when the kids were tucked up and the store room had a great selection of game or jigsaw which the kids loved. The honesty store was super helpful for those afternoon ice lollies (prices very reasonable). We will be back :)

Понравилось Really nice rounding, great views. Quiet and all you need to relax. The inside is very cosy. We loved every minute of it of our stay. The honesty shop is great and so many games to borrow in case the weather is not playing ball. Shops and things to do close by are plenty. Would definitely recommend it.

Понравилось Lots of room. Lovely outdoor decking area and grass area with enough to entertain the kids.
