Gostou Wonderful views of the surrounding hills and fields within a village. Great walks directly from the site. Spacious hard standing pitches fully serviced (ie water, electric, drainage). Great gray waste emptying. Bus within 5 minutes walk. Two pubs in village serving food. We ate in the Crispin. Really nice food, excellent service and very reasonable. The site has their own little shop selling fresh milk,eggs and milkshakes. Only 10 minutes ride to the Monsal trail (walking/cycling). Great trail runs into Bakewell (about 3 miles). I walked one way and got bus back. Great base where you can pitch up and leave the Moho and find plenty to do.

Gostou Spacious pitch. Excellent shower, toilet, washing up facilities. Peaceful location. A baby deer walked past which was delightful. Ease of access on to cycle path/walking path - Lune Estuary footpath. Easy flat walk to Lancaster or Glasson Dock in the other direction. Bus route within half a mile although limited service.

Não gostou Nothing to dislike but it was a lot more expensive than we normally pay but we were visiting a friend in Royal Lancaster hospital so it was handy for getting there

Gostou Size of campsite. Ease of access off the road. Communication with site owner. Information in shed. How well kept the site was.

Não gostou Buses dont run too often to York. They are two hourly. Not late back during week.

Gostou Ticked all our boxes mainly as it was really peaceful with only 3 vans allowed per night. Very reasonable price for peak season. Great for walks into Llandudno and up to the Great Orme. 15 minute walk to promenade which was very clean and great for wheelchairs or cyclists. Good selection of shops and restaurants. Ten out of ten for us. We don’t choose sites for facilities like clubhouses and fancy shower rooms as we prefer to use our onboard facilities particularly during the current situation with coved 19. Great booking process via pitch up.com

Não gostou Not a problem for us but some drivers may find it tight turning round at the site.
