The Little Barn Cápsula de campismo (proibido para animais)
Gostou Perfection, I cannot fault it.
Beautiful accommodation with lovely attention to detail in the decor, with a wonderful private garden containing some very beautiful flowers and a fantastic view of the lake.
Very comfortable bed.

Gostou Our second stay at the hut and just as perfect as the first, we booked it for longer this time.
An immaculate and well decorated cabin with beautiful countryside and lake views, set in it's own little garden (very private) with gorgeous mature trees and ample seating.
The hut is in a convenient location not too far away from the lively and interesting town of Bridgnorth, as well as being near a National Trust property and several museums. Extra note that Apley Farm is also worth a visit, which hosts regular events - we attended their classic car show (free), which was very impressive.
The hut is well equipped for it's small size, with little thoughtful extras included such as coffee, tea, toiletries. They even put beautiful flowers in there, which were so vibrant and stunning that for a few days we thought they were fake flowers!
It's likely we will be back again to rejuvenate in the country air :)

Gostou A small camping field a relatively short walking distance away from a very nice pub that we did visit.
Clean composting toilet in a shed type facility, and clearly a friendly atmosphere from the owners, as noted an easter egg hunt seemed to be in force when I awoke in the morning as spotted a 'hidden egg' with note next to the toilet shed.
Não gostou The description states they have a "Toilet block and chemical disposal", probably best if they mentioned that the toilet is a composting toilet as many campers would want to be aware of this before booking. I did not spot any other toilets other than this one.
The field was not anywhere near as spacious as it appears in the photos, quite cramped and small in fact with quite a few campers in a small space - but perhaps they have another larger field that was not open yet this time of year and that is what is shown in the photos.
I didn't meet the owners or any staff, as didn't see any signs for 'reception' to speak to anyone before pitching up and when passing back out again when walking to the pub (or indeed when leaving either). I did not spot any signs of how to speak to the owners, and so even if there was a more spacious field I could have been pitched in, I couldn't spot how to speak to the campsite owner to ask about it.
Only £8 per night though for two people, and therefore still all represented good value for money.

Gostou At a day and age, where you can't get a pitch for less than £20 a night in August, I was delighted to find newly opened Waterford Lodge; half the price of most campsites.
A very basic site (as described in the details), but a really pretty peaceful camping field and perfect for people who are happy to do without showers and really just want a pretty location at a lower price because they don't need electricity and such like.
The owners property is in beautiful surroundings and you get to cross a pretty little bridge near a beautiful lake, on the way back and forth from the 'rustic' toilet shed which is on their property grounds :D
The toilet and sink (cold water only) is in a cramped shed, but it's very clean.
If you don't care about having access to a shower or don't need access, and just want basic and cheap but pretty, this is the site for you.
I don't think it was mentioned in the details I read before booking, but next to the toilet shed there is actually an outside Belfast sink with a tap that you can wash your dishes in I presume, so that's one extra useful amenity.
We also tried out the nearby pub which was friendly and had a nice meal there - they have a good varied menu (very good prices) with a surprising number of vegetarian options for a country pub. You can walk to the pub from the camping field if you fancy a walk through the country lanes (only about 1.5 miles I think).
I can't comment on wifi, I didn't actually even check for it while there because I'm not one of those internet addicts :D
I will most likely revisit.

Gostou We stayed here for three nights. This is a beautiful site where you will get a fantastic sea view from just about any position you pitch at. It's truly panoramic.
The farm park has a basic range of ponies, goats, sheep and such like but is still lovely and very human friendly animals you can feed and pet - sure to be a massive hit with young children. The coastal walk from the site along the cliff edge is stunning and again you're pretty well guaranteed to see a seal or two/three during your walk. We saw three without having to stand around for very long to spot them.
There are two hotels a short walk away in Gwbert (very close to each other) - both lovely with incredible sea views from their patio areas, and serving food too.
The on site cafe at the camp site is pretty good with a nice little indoor play area for young children and some gifts you can purchase. The chef makes very high quality home made cakes. My partner nearly made himself sick on them day one :D
The showers and washing areas are sufficient for the number of guests, were close to the grass pitches and clean and well maintained.
Will most definitely return.
Não gostou Can't fault it.

Não gostou I can't fault it to be honest.
As a heads up for those with Vodafone - I had no Vodafone reception, but that's common in rural locations and so not a fault of the site itself.

Small non-electric grass tent pitch
Gostou This is a nice clean and smart site and the shower and bathrooms are extremely clean and kept nice and warm. There isn't any electricity (doesn't bother me) but they do have a hair dryer you can plug 20p into (runs for a decent length of time on 20p), which I was impressed with.
You can also buy coffee and breakfast from the shop on site, this is really nice when you realise you've forgotten your gas stove.
The owners were friendly and welcoming and the site is well located. The 20 minute walk down to the beach is very beautiful as it runs alongside a small river with waterfalls.
Não gostou I was very confused on arrival however to find there is absolutely zero sea view from the camping field or even the nearby fields beyond it ... despite the photos showing clear sea views from the camping field and the words 'camping with a sea view' alongside them.
Especially as this is one of the reasons I booked the site.
Did they photoshop the sea into the scenes? I feel rather alarmed by the representation of the camping field in the photos, because there isn't even a sliver of sea view at this site at all.

Do gestor: Dear ? Thank you for taking time write the review; we are very pleased you liked the site and facilities. Glyn and I must admit we are totally bewildered regarding your comment 'No Sea View' and that you are ALARMED by the representation. The views are uninterrupted and on a clear day you can see across the Channel Of serious concern is your suggestion that the photos of the site are PHOTOSHOP of the Sea; many of the photos of the site are either taken by Vale of Glamorgan Council photographer (for Perfect Pitch) or campers who have added photos to the site! Both Paddocks have Sea Views and I can even see the Sea from my kitchen window which is a further 50 metres away. Really we can not see how you missed the view, we can only wonder do you have the right site? This is Heritage Coast Campsite in Monknash Vale of Glamorgan.
